How much time for meals?

I'm sure the answer is out there but I can't seem to find it. How much time should I allow for meals in my touring plans? Not travel time but dining time. Looking for general ideas for signature dining , character buffet, and regular table service. Thanks!

I would plan 2 hours. And then add travel time to the restaurant if necessary. I've never done signature, but it takes about 60-90 minutes to meet all of the characters at a character meal. And if the restaurant is behind on seating that could tack on another 20-30 minutes.

For dining time alone (from being seated til settling the bill) we generally allow 2 hours for signatures, 60-90 minutes for TS restaurants ( including buffets) and 30-45 minutes for CS. But this doesn't account for possible waits to be seated (or long lines to order at CS).

We are like @ MinnieMum. 45 mins for CS, 90 minutes for TS, & 2 hours for Signature.

I've been wondering this specifically for BOG dinner, and have been digging around threads all day trying to find a good approximate time.

Regular TS, 1-1:15 tops once you're seated. We are fast eaters but you could easily extend that to 1:30. You will dictate your time. All restaurants want to get you in and out quickly. We've never had slow service at any dinner.
