How much time do you spend in each park?

I know we will want at least one full day at MK and probably another evening. Epcot is big but there is not that much we want to do there and I don't think we will want to spend a whole day. AK is our second favorite but never takes a whole day, and in the past we have not done that much at MGM but are planning to do more this trip. I am trying to plan because I have 2 hopper days left on an old pass, and I am getting a new non-hopper 2-day pass. I need to decide which days I will not want to hop. I'm getting 4-day hoppers for the kids.

2/27 - Epcot - 4:15 - 8 (had an IllumiNations cruise so we left the park at 8)
2/28 - AK from 9 - 3:30 (would have stayed till closing, but we had PSs at MK)
MK - 4:15 - closing
2/29 - Epcot 9 - 12, then WOS for cheerleading event
3/1 - MGM all day 9 - 7 (and needed it)
3/2 - MK - 9 - 3:30 - then to the resort - then left for DTD @ 6:30
3/3 - DQ & HDDR all day
3/4 - Epcot 9-3, then resort
3/5 - MK 10:30 - 5

Things I would have changed: staying at AK all day and not hop to MK, and given up one of the short Epcot days for another 1/2 day at either AK or MK. For us 1 day at MGM was enough.

We usually plan 2 days in MK, sometimes 2 1/2, depending on just how much time we have, park hours, and exhaustion levels. We spend a full day in Epcot, a full day in AK and a full day in MGM. We did spend just half a day at AK once, and it wasn't enough. There's really a lot to see and do there so we now spend a full day there. And actually, even a full day isn't quite enough to see everything, at least it wasn't in Feb.

We will only be there for 5 days and as of know plan 1.5 at MK, 1.5 at MGM and 2 days to split between AK, Epcot, DD and a water park. It seems busy but we are limiting ourselves to just what we really liked on our first trip.

We usually go for ten nights. We break it down 2 1/2 days MK, 2 1/2 days AK, 3 days Epcot, 2 days MGM.

We love AK - very relaxing and it is just beautiful (except Dinoland - what an awful additon to the park).

I'll second that.

the plans are now (6) nights in a 1B at VWL, then 2 days at MILs 45mins from WDW
Of those 6nights only 1 is a full Disney day plus night of MNSSHP; 2 days Universal and 3 resort days (maybe a waterpark, pool hop, water mice, etc)
On the day we leave we're heading to SeaWorld, following day Kennedy Space Ctr
This is more of a relax in FL vaca

A day in each park may be prudent, with a fifth day to be used at your discretion - when we went, our fifth, 'discretionary' day was spent mostly in Magic Kingdom but also with visits to Epcot and Animal Kingdom; we had had our fill of MGM :)

Of course, we would have loved more. Epcot is great just to laze about in and Magic Kingdom demands a two day sprawl. Animal Kingdom can only be properly seen over two days, I think, too.

I want to go back :(

Happy surfing from Simba Cub :)
