How much time do you schedule for Diseny Quest in your vacation?

We will be at Disney for 7 days. Shoudl I schedule 1/2 day or more?

If I plan it at the end of the week will I regret not spending more time there?

Can someone share their experiences at Disney Quest?

that would depend w/your party. The ages and their interests...for us I have a ds5 so 3-4 hrs for us was plenty. It was really neat...lots of games and fun things to do but a lot of it was for kids a little older. If you have kids that are really into video games I could see spending an entire day there... if you're on the ddp the cheesecake factory express was pretty good. further down at earl of sandwich at dtd...that was even better :thumbsup2 good luck and have fun!

I agree, it depends on the ages of your party. Last time my oldest was 9 and we only planned 1/2 day there. This time they are 11 & 6 & both have asked if we can spend an entire day at DDT. Luckily DH loves that stuff as much as they do, so I plan to spend 1/2 day at DQ, then the rest shopping with my mom and we will all meet for dinner.

I don't do Disney Quest, but our friends do a whole day between that and shopping DTD.

We spent 3 or 4 hours there. It was DS7, DSD13, DH and I. I highly recommend the Pirate game and the river cruise game. They are fun for the whole family.

The design your own rollercoaster is fun. It is worth the wait at least once.

I might have enjoyed it more if we hadn't done AK that morning and had plans for MK that evening.

We went twice during our trip. My kids and dh loved it. They would have stayed all night if I had let them. They love video games, my dd loved the drawing class and art stuff. It was a definite must do for us.

For us (a group of 4 young adults) 2 hours was enough! And it was busy...

This time there are 10 of us ranging from 1-55, so we've just decided to visit DQ after dinner and stay as long as we want. We'll have about 3 hours, if the kids like it, we'll just go back another day!

We've gone once years ago, 4 adults, 2 in their 20's and 2 in their late 40's. It was something new, different, maybe just a do to see and say we were in there but we rather spend our time and money elsewhere. DTD, or Westside doesn't hold much for us, we always take the bus to DTD and walk through the favorite of ours shops and exit by the theaters. With PI, being revamped and mostly boarded up, this past trip a jaunt to DTD was a one time thing, no thought given to DQ. WE usually stay on the monorail loop or WL and our pleasure for an hour on video and noise is a trip to the CR, biggest game room on property. Its close to our resort, we enjoy a cocktail at the Outer Rim lounge after play and it has some great shopping in its 2 shops, all in a night, enough for us.

We went in 2004...me, DH & kids 12 & 9. We were there about 5 hours and DH & the kids COULD HAVE STAYED LONGER! DH & the kids are HUGE video game junkies. They preferred the "old-school" games over the virtual reaqlity games.

I had had enough after about 2 hours, walked around DTD and went back. The ONLY reason they left is we had ADRs (then PSs) at HDDR. The kids wanted to go back another day, but we couldn't fit it in our schedule.

This trip I'm holding open a few hours on several evenings in case they want to go more than one time.

We go to Disney Quest alot. DS and Dh could spend all day there. I get a headache from all the noise after about 2 hours, so usually they leave me at home. The quest burgers are the best hamburger on property! Often we get rootbeer on the 4th floor and vanilla icecream. Add the icecream to our rootbeer, and there we have a rootbeer float, yum!

There are 5 floors of interactive games. It's best to visit DQ when it is not raining. Everybody seems to go when it rains and it can get so packed it's not enjoyable.

1st floor---The Pirate's game and Virtual Jungle cruise are great fun!
2nd floor--Aladin's carpet ride is fun (the virtual mask is very heavy). DS loves the virtual rollercoaster. he likes to put in as many loops as possible and it really does go upside down when you put in a loop or cork screw, so beware! Drawing with and artist is fun too, look at the time guide on the board for when the next drawing is. You can create a toy like Sid's. You can even purchase your creation if you like it. You can creat your own music mix and if you want, you can purchase that as well.
3rd floor---don't miss Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. It's a bumper car where you run over nerf balls, then load them in your cannon and fire them at other bumper cars. If you hit the target, that person's care will spin out of control. It's a blast! Mighty Duck pinball slam is fun too! You stand on a giant pogo looking thing and move it side to side and front and back to control your ball in the pin ball game.
4th floor---here you can kick some alien butt (some scenes are kind of gorey), eat a dessert at the cheesecake factory counter, sit down and relax at a computer, or play the Comix, there is also an area for small children to play video games.
5th floor--the Cheesecake factory express food is on this floor. Play skeeball, old arcade games, or eat on this floor.
