You get 3 fastpass + attractions. How much te do you allow in between each one? What is the best strategy for scheduling these?

You're given a one hour return time for each, so it's not like you have to be at Space Mountain at 3:45 and then Thunder Mountain at 3:50. And they don't overlap (you can't have Space Mountain from 3:30-4:30 and Thunder Mountain from 4:00-5:00, for example), so spacing them out really doesn't matter. The parks aren't that big that it should be a problem.

Best strategy for us last week was 3 fastpasses in a row during late afternoon/early evening. 5-6, 6-7, 7-8.

you are not suppose to have to wait in line more then 10 minutes with a fp+ reservation+ ride time. But when I booked FP+ ressie's it wouldn't let me overlap time at all. So one would be like 10:30-11:30 and the next one wouldn't go any earlier than like 11:40 etc.

Also, once you use your prebooked 3, you can get another. Personally in MK I'd probably use then 11-12, 12-1, 1-2 so you can get more throughout the day. In Epcot and HS, I'd be more inclined to use earlier so you have a chance of grabbing a 4th FP+ for another tier 1 ride. Or course all this depends on if you are hopping, if you are staying all day, etc.....lots of variables to consider.

I was just trying to figure this all out and working around dining reservations.

For us with teens - I booked them in mid-afternoon one right after the other since I doubt they'll get to the park before noon. And in between maybe do some low line attractions if they still exist.
Plus maybe we'd have a chance at getting a 4th one for early evening.

I can't wait to see how it works for us - might be a complete fail or might work perfectly.

Other than 4th FP+ strategies there are two options to consider.

The first is to do them one after the other in a row an hour apart. Watch that you don't schedule Space Mountain or Buzz in-between Splash and Big Thunder! Also, if you do Splash and BTMRR go to the first one toward the end of the 1 hour window so you can jump on the other right after.

The second option is to spread them out. For example make the first one for a Tomorrowland attraction. After the ride, tour other fun things in that area. Then move on to say Fantasyland, ride the SDMT with FP+ and then do other things in the area. Rinse and repeat for the third one. This option spreads your FP+ around - maybe having 2 - 3 hours between each one. It allow you to tour the park in a planned manner that eliminates walking across the park.

I back them up- so to speak...for example...I know I have a lunch ressie at Coral Reef at 11:30am....so I book my first FP at 12:15 to 1:15...knowing for part of that FP I'll be at lunch. This will allow me to leave lunch around 12:45...hit up 1 ride and then do the next one almost right after.

This is what we did last time and it worked out great. It made us feel like we weren't 'waiting around' for our next FP.

We just got back from an 8 day stay and I know that I might get looked at negatively for this but we used our fastpasses starting around 10, and then pushed them up back to back (10-11, 11-12, 12-1) with one another so that we could have the option of getting a 4th FP or more for attractions that we really wanted. We ended up with 7 fastpasses at MK yesterday and the day before we got a FP for both TT and Soarin at Epcot. I found that many times an attraction that we wanted wasn't available at the kiosk at that time so I would choose most any attraction and then play with times on my phone and we always managed to get what we wanted for our extra one throughout the day. But there was definitely some strategy involved. This was my boys' first trip though so we really wanted to experience as much as we could. Now we know our favorites and our trip would look different next time possibly.

Never thought of that! So you basically go to the kiosk, pick 'whatever' then play with it on your phone? I didn't realize you could do the 'kiosk thing' for your 4th FP and then 'play around' like normal on your phone to switch it up.

No negativity coming from me. Sounds like you made the system work for you!

is it possible to book a 4th FP in a park on the Kiosk, then switch it to another park on your phone?? Has anyone done this?
