If my flight lands at MCO at 9:00 what time do you think I'll be at WDW? I figure the ME will take me to the resort (POFQ) first and then I'm on to Epcot. Will I be at Epcot by 11:00, 12:00?

Well, it's about 25min between MCO and WDW. That being said, you still have to get through ME and resort check-in.

I would say that 12 is a safer bet. Though if everything goes smoothly, you could be on a bus headed to Epcot by 11.

Agree with all of the above. However, would like to add that depending on crowds and numbers of buses running, ME can take up to a half hour or so (maybe more) before you're even on the bus. Or it can take 5 minutes. Then, it also depends on whether or not your hotel is the first stop. Usually there's about 3-4 hotels per ME bus, and about 10-15 minutes per hotel (then 5-10 minutes or so driving between, give or take). So you're travel time getting off the plane to getting to your hotel can be anywhere from an hour to about an hour and a half/two. Then check in can take up to a half hour in waiting then actual checking in. Then you have to wait for the bus (up to 20 minutes), then its about a 10 minute ride to Epcot. When we go, we like to aim for three hours before making any definite plans, but it's possible you'll make it by 12. I'd aim for closer to 1 though.

Sorry if this is confusing, but we've done this a few times, and the timing with ME is so up in the air, that it really is anyone's guess as to when you'll actually be getting to your resort.

Thanks for all of the info! I don't have ADR until 7:00, so I don't have any firm plans. That's just my only Epcot day and I wanted to maximize it!! I've never done the ME, we usually drive down from NC but since I'm solo I didn't want to tackle that drive alone :)

I'm going solo in April and Epcot is my first stop too. I also land at 9am. I was estimating arriving at Epcot between 12-1 with ME and hotel checkin. My plan is to head right to World Showcase and snack around the world!:)

I also land at 9:00 but I rented a car so I'm hoping to be at the resort by 10:30 the latest.

I always take ME but this trip I am going for a work conference and couldn't bring myself to stay at the Marriott so I booked myself at POP (a bit worried since I'm a total Beach Club snob!) and rented a car to drive back and forth each day.

Going to miss the welcome video on the ride there but I know I will be thrilled with being able to grab my luggage, jump into my rental and then fly to the resort.

My last trip in March '09, I sat on the bus waiting to leave for 40 minutes. Nothing worse than "almost" being there. It's hard enough not being there almost all of the time but to be that close and know you have no control over when you arrive at your resort is as tough as it gets!!
