How much stuff did you buy just for your Disney vacation?

Thanks for starting this thread. I'm getting my packing list together. Great ideas!

I ordered my SSS sunscreen from my Avon lady last week. We're staying at AKL so I got the sunscreen w/bug repellant.

We just went in January so some of the stuff I bought from World of Disney still has not been worn or used. Does that count? I have a WDW backpack and my Mickey Mouse Club baseball shirt. That's it so far.

I need to buy:
AA Batteries for our misting fans and the boys' gameboys
Mini toothpaste and conditioner
Film and camcorder tapes
Gum, lollipops and magazines for the plane
New sneaks for the boys
A new swimsuit for me

Edited to add - I received two free carryons and two free 3-piece travel sets when the Chadwicks promo was going on. I'm using some of those items for the trip so I guess I can add new luggage to my list.

I just bought.. camera, film, water, and snacks including gum

I have in my prepacked Disney suitcase.. PAL Mickey, fan/mister, laundry things, ponchos, backpacks, first aid kit, shampoo, body wash, camcorder w/ tapes and extra battery, sharpies, collapsable cooler, baby wipes (just in case), 3 beach towels and tissues.

Still to get... AA batteries for everyones CD players, suncreen and chapstick.

I think that is all we needed, everyone got new socks for Christmas, and I tend to buy one size larger during the end of summer sales for my DD 7.

I tend to shop the other way around. I don't make a list and go buy what I need. I go to Target, stroll up and down every single aisle (paying very close attention to the clearance on the ends) and try to imagine a WDW use for whatever I see.

We were there in January, so the leftovers from that trip are in our "park" backpack. Glo sticks, first aid stuff, the badge holders we use for park passes, etc. are all in there.

I have a big bag of disposable cameras that I just got on clearance, a new regular camera, and a Samsonite carry-on that I got for 75% off. We bought a huge Samsonite suitcase for 75% off right after Christmas. I bought a Brita bottle on Thursday at CVS - it is still in the bag. I need to take that out today and see if I like it.

I bought shoes for me and DS in November so we could break them in for January. I am trying not to wear mine - I want to "save" them. DS wears his to school every day and by October they will be too small anyway so he will need new ones.

I pretty much buy anything that I think will be useful. I just hope I am not like the OP on another thread who couldn't remember where she put the things she bought in advance!! Then I would have to buy it all over again!

What a fun thread! I'm glad I'm not the only anal one who lists and packs and makes more lists and does more shopping and puts stuff in bins and gets excited thinking about how all the stuff I'm getting will be used at WDW!
So far my list of stuff I've bought recently for our June WDW trip includes:
*2 sets of 4 matching family Disney t-shirts
*4 different kinds of sunscreen (need to be prepared for all types of sun! )
*only 3 disposable cameras (Need more memory cards for digital)
*4 ponchos (Need more)
*new carry on
*3 fanny packs
*2 personal fans
*hand sanitizer
*trial size laundry detergent and fabric softener

And the list goes on...
What's worse is the list of stuff still to buy--need to go shopping today for walking shoes for DS and DD.
