Realistically, how much money will I spend in 6 days at Disney?
It will be 3 of us (my daughters are older and will have a little cash of their own).
We are not on the dining plan and have 4 dining reservations.
I want to use NO credit cards and so I am hoping to be prepared ;)

Need more info as there are a number of variables. Where are your ADRs, how old are the girls, do you drink alcohol or plan on have appetizers at the TS restaurants? Do you plan on eating 3 meals a day at the parks/resorts or eat some of your meals in your room? Are you staying on site? Do you plan on sharing meals? Do you plan on buying souvenirs or snacks? For me I can plan on around $50 per day and that is a moving target but all equals out in the end. I'm a light eater and rarely snack on things like popcorn or sweets between meals, I don't drink soft drinks but do drink a refreshing adult beverage. My days normally look like: A child's meal for breakfast, normally a platter which is around $7.00, I stay in moderate/deluxe resorts so I take it back to the room and make coffee there. For lunch again I normally get a child's meal at QS in the parks but let's say adult so around $10, I drink water so I get the free water you can get at QS (I get those throughout the day while walking around). If I eat at TS I normally get an appetizer and soup or salad, a glass of wine (or two) and maybe dessert. I'm going to go with Brown Derby as an example just because it's a signature restaurant and on the high end of the scale. Crab Cake Appetizer $16, Cobb Salad Appetizer portion $11.00, Wine Flight $14, Dessert $15 = $56. Total for day $77 (rounded and doesn't include tip). The next day I may eat the breakfast and lunch I had the day before but have another QS for supper or maybe grab something around WS in Epcot. Some days for breakfast I may grab a muffin, which is only around $4.

I always treat myself to one expensive something in the parks, usually around $200.

I would suggest you look at the menus before you go and get some idea of what you want to eat and add it all up then budget a little higher for food and then figure out if you are going to spend anything on souvenirs. Don't forget to add those mikey bars and popcorn if that's your thing.

Thank you! This was very helpful. I have 4 reservations, we buffets. My kids are adults, well 17 and 21so adult pricing on things.

I am a light eater. We all tend to share food when we eat out. And they will have souvenir money of their own!

I budget $100 a day for each of us. Then I don't feel like I end up stressed about money the entire time. I typically buy half of that amount in Disney gift cards from Sam's and use that first. Then, have a separate account that the rest is in.

I am also buying Disney giftcards. I don't want to over buy though, as we aren't positive when we will be back.

Preshop to figure out an estimate. Allears.net has the prices of restaurants, and disneystore.com or the shop parks app can give you an estimate of how much the souvenirs you want will cost. Always budget for more than you think! And if you do end up going the disney gift card route, don't worry about having extra. You can use the cards in disney stores as well as online, not just in the parks.

Well your buffets will be set in stone so you can plan that. Add tax and tip so you know how much 4 of your meals will cost. You will still need to plan two more dinners, depending on your schedule, as well as lunch and breakfast. I figure about $12 for breakfast including coffee, and $15 for lunch or dinner at CS restaurants. WE generally find that 2 CS meals is enough for three of us, but we use the DDP and Dessert is included, so that stretches the meals a little bit.

WE always budget $100 per person per day for food, and more for cocktails and tips.

You know your spending habits when it comes to shopping. I bring $100 per day. This also covers the tips for mousekeeping and any bell services and taxi etc that I use

Its really hard to say because it can very so much person to person. When I am going with the kids for a week, I usually figure about $1500 for food for the week, and then another couple 100 for souvenirs and such. Sometimes we are under budget but not always. We do eat TS almost every night, and I enjoy a few adult beverages.
