This seems to be one of the most common asked questions on here, but unfortunately, it's also one of the hardest to answer.

How much money is enough really depends on how much you like to spend... Lunch can range for a few Euros each upwards, depending on whether you have a small or large meal and souvenirs are the same, depending on what you buy and how many you buy.

The best bet is to take a "sensible" amount, but not too much, then either:

a) take some sterling spare and change it up while you're over there.
b) take a card which you can use if you overspend.

Credit card:thumbsup2

I would also just get a small bit of cash changed just to pay for small things like drinks/sweets etc

hi... well its a tricky one as its depends how you like to spend.... but heres how I work it out.... lunchs I budget around 10euros per person...this will get a snack and drink, we dont tend to eat lunch as we're normally full from breakfest. I then take between £50-£100 for buying stuff and for it we want to have a few drinks in the evening etc.It really dpends what sort of thing you think you will be buying.

im getting £400 changed to euros and will have a card with me also i was hoping this would be plenty. i dont want to go and be watching the pennies i want to enjoy but with the euro rate so awful at the minute i hope it enough
