How much should I expect to pay for flights from the UK?

I am planning a trip to Disneyland and Las Vegas in late September next year (2012).

I am looking at flying from London into either LA or Vegas (don't mind which) and was just wondering realistically how low I can expect to find flights (cost per person) for?

We usually fly to Florida and our flights from Ireland to SFO then back from Orlando into Dublin were about €800 more expensive for the 4 of us than our regular Dublin / Orlando flights.

Edited to add, you might be better asking this question over on the UK boards as people on there would have booked West Coast flights from the UK and would have a better idea on costs
