How much rain would rain out WOC?

We have a WOC dining package dinner resie for this Friday and the forecast calls for rain throughout the day and evening (well, 50-60% chance so who knows). How much rain would rain out the show? I'm thinking of canceling the WOC package (gotta do it by tomorrow morning) although if the show is on I'm sure I'd be kicking myself. IF the show is canceled do they still require you to do the package or can we just switch to the regular dinner menu?

The first time I saw WOC was back when they were doing the picnic meal/Fastpass packages (do they still do that?). It had been pouring ALL day long (the parks were empty - it was awesome!). When we picked up our picnic meals I asked the CM if the show would be cancelled if it was still raining that night and he said "no way - they won't cancel it unless there is a hurricane!". He basically told us that unless there are really strong winds that impact the water screens, or lots of lightening, they won't cancel it. Sure, enough - the show went on despite the rain. Now, this was coming from one CM, so who knows how "official" it is, but it proved true for us!

Yeap, unless its super strong rain they wont cancel... I also agree that rainy days are some of the best in DL... the parks are empty! (for DL standards)

This is soo good to know! We have the WOC dining package for friday and it's supposed to rain

It's my understanding that WOC doesn't really get "rained" out. It gets canceled because of strong winds, whether it happens to be raining at the time or not.
