How much paid time off do you have?

I don't... although I would definitely rather have my flexible schedule then have PTO. I can take off whenever I want/need but I can then put myself into the schedule other days to make up for it or not get paid.

I'll answer for DH as well...

3 weeks vacation
5 personal days
3 "safe driving days" (yes, I'm serious :teeth: )
unlimited sick time

We get 80 hours vacation that cannot be banked and no sick time. If your sick you must make up you time or not get paid. :sad2:

My vacation time stinks. I get 80 hours and can only take them if the week is available (we bid on vacation weeks by seniority). If I need time off other than that I have to shift trade with someone, what a pain. Oh yeah and since its the airport...no holidays off unless it falls on your scheduled day off.
Sometimes I wonder if the flight benefits are really worth it.

4 weeks vac
7 sick days
2 personal days

we can roll over vacation / personal time until March 31st of the new year.

I will never lose a vacation day as they are well earned! I have given back many sick days.

I'm still too new at my job so nothing yet :) But DW MeanLaureen gets a yearly allotment of 51 days (combo vacation and sick) plus 6 paid holiday. Hers doesn't carry over though so if they aren't used, they are gone.

I get 3 weeks vacation and 1 week sick time. We can't bank or use our sick days as vacation days. If I have still here next year I'll get 4 weeks vacation :cool1:

Personal time is pretty flexible depending on your manager. I don't have to use vacation/sick time to go to the dr etc.

I have:

4 weeks vacation
5 sick days (or mental health days)
3 personal days

28 days total (And, we can carry a week over to the following year)

I now get 26 vacation days a year. I think I have 45 total right now. We can only save 30 for the next year plus that years worth, so the most I can have is 56. I also have 20 hours of comp time accumulated. Which is a half hour short of 3 days because I work 6.5 hours a day.

We have 14 paid holidays a year, 1 personnal and 15 sick. Sick can be accumulated and I have over 50 sick days. If we retire from here we are paid one half of unused sick days with a max of $12,000.00. We also get all unused vacation. We must use personal and comp days or we lose them.

4 weeks, plus I carried over one day from last year. :) No official sick time -- you're sick, you stay home. :)

DW has no official vacation time now that she's a partner. She wants vacation (and isn't tied down by client commitments), she takes the time off. :)

160 vacation time -- once you hit 160, you can not accrue any more time. Works out to a week a quarter for accrual
56 hours sick time -- non-accruing
9 paid holidays
2 personal days -- non-accruing, use it or lose it

I've got 55 sick days banked, earn 12 more a year. So by next year, I'll have 65 days banked, and then my company will start paying me for unused sick days because 65 is the limit.

Plus, I get 17 vacation days a year. :) Love my company!

Vacation - 18 days per year (do not carry over)
Personal/Sick - 12 days per year (carries over, maxes out at 30 days)
9 paid holidays

For maternity leave, I can take up to 12 weeks, using a combination of personal/sick time and short-term disability.

Right now I have 29 days of vacation and 3 personal days .... we get our new vacation days in June each year and I will get an additional 30 days...I usually carry over 3 weeks....since I am losing my job in December, I hope to have 10 weeks saved that I will get a check for and that is paying for my next trip to WDW!!! :cool1:

I get 4 weeks (160 hrs) and have a max accrual/available of twice our annual rate (or 320 for me). I have about 220 banked right now. Plus 32 personal hours per year of which I have 26.66 hours.

I have 7 weeks vacation, 1 Personal Holiday, 11 paid holidays, and have banked 1880 sick hours. I have been with my company for 24 years and will gain another week vacation after 30 years.
