How much money would two adults spend on food per day at the parks?

Pretty tough question I would imagine but I'm just interested in seeing what people think. We are not getting the dinning plan and would like to know how much money to budget for food.

I'd say $25 total for each counter service meal would cover it.

For TS- that could be a really wide range.

It's an impossible question to answer.
Depends entirely on is it quick service? table service? signature? do you do app's/entree/desserts? Will alcohol be consumed? 1,2,3 meals per day?

A wildly wide guess might be about $ 60 per day per person.

What kind of food?

With a CS you can get out for under $10 apiece in a lot of places (at some you'd have to up it to around $15) if you don't order a drink (get a free cup of water) or dessert.

Do you plan on TS meals? How many, what kind? Buffets? Do you go for the fancier places? Do you like to order three courses and/or alcohol?

you will get a wide variety of answers. for i plan on 40.00 per person if we are doing 2 counter service meals (average 15.00pp) and a snack and a drink each at some point during the day.

I much prefer to do a TS everyday though and would then need to budget accordingly or purchase a plan.

TS. because we plan to eat lunch back at the resort and then come back to the parks for dinner.

To give you the perspective of a couple who likes to eat, on average, two table service restaurants a day when we go, I'd say we expect to pay between $100-200 a day on food. If we decide to hit any lounges, you can probably tack on another $25-50 to that range.

The wide range is due to dinner, primarily. We like to eat at signatures, so if we do eat dinner at a signature, I think we expect that range to be on the high side.

We also pay out of pocket. We've never used the dining plan. Seems like a waste for just two people.

We eat at 1 sit down, and 1 counter a day, with a few snacks/drinks a day.
I estimate roughly $100-$125 a day for the two of us. Depends on the restaurant. Although some sit down meals are $100 or more alone.

Yeah, that last part is the kicker.

WDWInfo.com and AllEars.net have fairly accurate/updated menus with prices for all the restaurants at Disney World... both QS and TS. So before my first trip, I looked over the menus and picked out places I'd probably eat at and meals I'd probably order and added up the prices to figure out a budget.

So you are looking for one TS meal per day for dinner (which is usually more expensive than lunch).

Take a look at the online menus to get a ballpark idea of what the restaurants you like are charging. That will make it much easier to come up with a budget. And you can factor in how many courses you like to eat and whether or not you buy alcohol.

Depending on where you eat dinner and what you get you should average about $120 per day and that will include the tip.

Same here with some above, We avg a day $40-50 a day Per person. Thats Breakfeast in hotel room..Juice and snacks ect brought from home..QS lunch(Wraps,Hamburgers, chicken, salads ect)..Nightly TS meals-Crystal Palace,Blues, Tusker House,50s Cafe ect ...and also covers snacks and drinks during parks.
