How much longer???

Hi all. We are existing members who bought direct. We closed on a resale contract a week ago and were told the paperwork was submitted to Disney. How much longer will it take, approximately, for me to see those resale points in my existing account? The wait is excruciating, and annoying. Grrrrr.

You should be just about there. It usually takes about a week, but they are probably swamped with resales to process right now. Another poster reported the points showing up in their online member-site status before MS could see them, so you might want to login and check there.

We closed Monday the 14th and I saw my points online yesterday, March 21st.

I think it takes a few more days for the points to become active. They are showing there, but not yet ready for use.

I know the waiting is hard, but just keep reminding yourself all of the $ saved.

We are on the exact same timeline as you, or at least, I think. We submitted our final closing papers and check early last week and think that we closed, but after a phone call to both our broker and the title company we have yet to hear if it ever officially closed. (Just a side comment--I do believe our broker is competent and has been efficient, but the communication has been non-existent.) Anyway, assuming that we closed on Wednesday of last week, I have been checking our online account everyday waiting for those points to show up. Yes, we are getting a bit impatient as well, but I'm sure that I will forget it very quickly when I can officially book our summer vacation! Hang in there!!
