How much longer will Disney Quest be open?

I read somewhere that Disney Quest will be closing sometime in 2016. Is there a definite close date? We're hoping it will still be around in mid-Sep!

Back when the NBA project was cancelled, I believe it was confirm to be open at least into 2017. Unless they find a tenant or partner, it won't surprise many be open longer, but expect no new investment into DQ.

My boys still love it in there. **sigh** IMHO Disney could just add a few more air hockey tables and those basketball hoop machines and mine would be there all day! Not much expense there!

Apparently the NBA thing didn't go through - there is no set date atm.

Any update on how much longer Disney Quest will be open?

We will be there Aug 2017, and we are starting to plan things out. My 7 year old half remembers it from when he was 4, and really wants to go again. Disney Quest might actually be the tipping point as to whether we get the WP&more option.

I know we could add the option after we get there, but, we could add the option tax free when we buy them from our military base in Jan. Plus, we might take an earlier flight to go there arrival day, and Southwest flights go on sale Jan 5. Staying at POR, so it would be an easy boat ride to go there.

Yes, there was an announcement somewhere of it on in to 2017. As far as I know, there is no closing date set

I had a typo in my post, it should have said, "when the NBA project was cancelled," Disney Quest was confirmed into 2017.
