Just looking for an average total of your charge account on a 7 - night cruise.

Please note if you are including gratuities as well....

I am including gratuities but that would be a small portion of the bill. We tend to spend alot on photos at Shutters, those yummy drinks of the day, and let the kids (2 girls, ages 15 and 12) each spend about $150.

Whether tips are included or not, I still fit in the $1,000-$3,000 range. We also are a family of four, 2 kids 2 adults and I am a BINGO player.

We were a party of 4, DH, myself, DS5 and DD8. We didn't do any excursions and we had only a few drinks. I also played one game of bingo. We bought the biggest picture package and our final number was around $1200 which includes the tips. The majority of our charges were pictures and the gift shop.

My DW and I budget about a thousand dollars per 7 day cruise. Most of this is for the stores and shutters. Tips are not included

brack - is that just for the two of you? I'm thinking about taking DBF on a 7-day for his 50th. I'd like to budget in advance as much as possible.

Family of 4, (2A & 2dd's) I spent $900 last cruise which included each dd spending $100, and our tips. I spent $250 on pictures and the rest was gifts :)

We are a family of four and we definately fit into the $1000-$3000 Catagory with or without the tips. Thats including excurtions, picture package at shutters, lots & lots of bingo for both DH and I, and quite a few sovieners.
I think the fact that you don't actually have to pay for everything up front, you tend to spend more. It builds rather quickly.

On ou last 3 sailings we averages 300-400 dollars per day for the four of us.....Myself DW and DDs14 and 12. That includes tips, shore excursions and LOTS of cold drinks.

Our total with tips was 650 and we tipped over the recommended amount. That was with the 4 of us, one excursion for DH, and the small shutters package with 1 extra 8x10.

$1100. including tips. No DCL excutions, 2 photos, bingo, gifts, spa and drinks. The 2 kids were allowed $125. each.

My budget was $1,000. so I was pretty happy with $1,100.:teeth:

$1300 for 4 on the 7 day eastern, everything. Excursions at $700 was the biggest chunk, tips next at about $250, wine in the dining room, champagne for new years, martinelli's for the kids on new years was another $125. The martinellis' killed me, $18 a bottle, heck, on sale here it goes for 99 cents. Rest was pictures and tee shirts.
We were on before free soda, but still didn't spend a penny on beverages other than those listed above, the fruit punch at Topsiders, the lemonade at the beverage station, and soda in the dining room for free kept us happey.

Our shipboard account came to $669.27 for 3 of us dh, me and Ds13 this included gratuities, $140 for Bingo ( but we did win $62) and $85 in shutters, also included some shopping onboard and duty free and a couple of drinks and arcade cards, we spent around $250 in ports on self excursions and shopping / food.

We just got back and for the 3 of us we spent about 1800.00 - ($800 over budget) - as stated previously it adds up very quickly....this included tips, shore excursions, spa, etc.... next trip I will just budget more ahead of time....we had a wonderful time and I wouldn't do anything different....

Well all I can say is that Shutters will get in with those prices. I think they should have been alittle cheaper. Even though I did get my DD's age 10 Christmas Picture cards done.

We did the 7 day Western in May and paid about $1500. That included: Palo dinner (we tipped extra), Palo Brunch, babysitting for (8 hours), one spa treatment for dh (who also got sucker into buying $50 worth products), bingo on the final game, 2 shore excursions for 2 adults & 1 child (baby was free), all tips, tons of gifts, shutters & all those drinks (we probably bought 4 alcoholic drinks a day). HTH.... Don't forget to budget for extras at ports that don't go on your room tab. We did one excursion on our own in Grand Cayman & bought souvenirs in all the ports. So, we probably spent about $2000 total.

I added the cost of the gratuities for my servers, host/ess and others that I choose to tip during the trip. I don't have a bar tab, but enjoy the spa and the products immensely!

kbsmom...........how much were the Christmas Cards? I plan on getting mine done when we cruise in April. (one less thing to think about in December :) )

We were just over $3000 for the six of us. That included gratuities and about a $1000 in the spa. Needless to say we blew our budget.
