How much is your milk?

I was just wondering what most people are paying for a gallon of milk these days. I just bought a gallon and it cost me $3.00 and I was wondering if this was average.

That's about the lowest price you'll pay around here for the Publix store brand. If you want to buy a gallon of McArthur or Velda Farms milk, it's about $3.48 (that's what I pay at Walmart).

Actually Dan, Italian milk is more expensive and doesn't last as long. The milk we by is the US Forces Europe milk. $2.00 is a great price!

If I go to the regular grocery store it is $3.29-$3.79 a gallon. I usually buy ours at Sam's Club where it is $2.08 a gallon.

I just bought a gallon yesterday: $2.98. Our milk has gone down in price over the last two years.

There is a price war at the two major chains here. It's been $1.79 for months and one or another of them will drop it to $1.69. Any other store, it's closer to $3.00.

Regular price at Kroger is 2.89/Walmart is 1.99 most of the time. You can almost always get it on sale at either Kroger or Meijer for 1.99, if you don't want to get it at Walmart. This week it is on sale for 1.49 at a local store by my parents. I usually only have to pay more than 1.99 about once every 3 months or so, then it is back on sale and I don't pay more the 1.99.

Regular price at most stores ranges from $2. at Sams to $2.49 at a regular grocery store.

Mayfield milk in the metro Atlanta area is $3.99 a gallon. Kroger or Publix brand is alittle lower.

About 2 bucks a gallon... that's for the store brand. I prefer Bordons or Braums... it's like $3.50 a gallon.

I pay $1.97 for Great Value Brand at Walmart. Some of the other brands like Bordon, etc. can be almost $4.00/gallon.
