I have been with thomson the last 3 times and use manchester/Gatwick. your local airport normally works out dearer. virgin only fly from manchester, gatwick and heathrow. we are going from manchester on the monday morning 10.25am.

:thumbsup2 :cool1:

Sounds great!:thumbsup2 With those prices the online discount was just £200 - it would be worth using Tesco vouchers if you had a couple of hundred pounds' worth!

I'm waiting to book Sept 2010 and got really excited when I saw that virgin had released their prices but the quote was about £800 more then what I have worked out it would be for booking separately :headache:

Not exactly a bargain then!;) Would you be able to use tesco vouchers to pay for part of it?

No, I dont shop at tesco.I'm hoping the free dinning offer will be back this year for bookings next year.... so I guess I'll wait and see as that will save us alot :goodvibes

That offer is worth a fortune, isn't it? The offer last year was particularly good. If you upgraded to deluxe accommodation (OKW I think) you got 44% off plus the deluxe dining plan plus 14 day tickets for the price of 7. Oh how I wished I had enough money to book last year.

I know... I would be very pleased to get free dining let alone deluxe accommodation at 44% off :goodvibes Though I really want to stay at CSR so I would be torn by that offer...but i guess money wins out every time.

I didnt know they did the ticket offer aswell.... I wonder if they'll do that this year too... OOOOoo I'm getting excited now, we decided that we would go in 2010 last year so now its only a matter months until we can book I feel like this

I would be like that  too if I could book for 2010. I've only just decided it's going to happen, so it will take me about 2 years to save. I really want a suite because there's 5 of us. With the deals you can get for 4, I would have been able to go earlier, but which child do you leave at home lol;)

I want to stay at Cypress Pointe (Wayneg's recommendation) or Staybridge Suites - both LBV. I wouldn't mind which, as long as I can ge a good deal. The suites at WDW onsite are beyond my budget. I want to be close to the action, rather than at a villa. Where are you going to book?

I think we have decide to stay at the Coronado Springs Resort, but We would love to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge or Wilderness Lodge if we could afford but I dount it lol

I would like to stay onsite but it bumps the price up a bit, doesn't it? Are you going to wait a few months to see what offers Disney make? Last year you had to book by the beginning of November and then they extended it to December (I think). It would be nice if they matched the current DLRP offer on all onsite accommodation, wouldn't it?

they are both lovely resorts, you could arrange for a meal at either and have a look around at the same time

Yeah that is what we are planning to do....I'm hoping we can have a look at a few of the other resorts too:goodvibes

It does... I would think about staying offsite but it would mean my bf driving which he's not keen on. Yeah I think the free dinning comes out in the summer months so we'll wait and see if we can get that offer. Last year the flights weren't out untill Nov for the time we want to go, so our plan is to book the hotel with a deposit and then booked the flights when there out in Oct/Nov - we'll just have to amend the hotel booking if the flights are cheaper on different days(i think we can do this without being charged). I know yeah... we're soo tempted to book DLRP for Sept...

We got 10 nights in the Easter holidays for £900 per adults ALL IN. By all in, I mean: food, drinks, travel insurance, hotel, flights, insurance and transport whilst we're there.

Personally I think Disney is horrendously overpriced; perhaps if I had children I would feel differently but I can't justify the cost of the park tickets when Universal has better rides AND is cheaper!

Tell me more! What did you get for your £900? And who did you book with?

Firstly, we don't have a car. We stay on I-Drive. It's walking distance to Universal (about 20 minutes) or a very short bus ride.

Booked the Doubletree Castle - £49/night for the room, so £250 each for the trip.

Booked flights with AA - £350/return.

£150 for theme park tickets + local transport (bought before the dollar crash - now would be about £180).

£20/day for food (found £15/day was plenty last time; usually buffet breakfast and meal in the evening - somewhere like TGIs).

£15 for travel insurance (buy annually, works out at this much per trip).

Total: £865/person for 10 nights...so £900 if we add on a few extra/nice meals.

That is really great. Were the flights with AA including all charges? Fab prices.:thumbsup2
