Could anyone tell me how much the Deluxe dining plan is per person?

I tried to count back and came at 70 dollar per day,per person.
Could that be right?

A new Deluxe Dining Plan is available for $69.99/adult and $19.99/child per night. With this new plan, each guest receives 3 meals and 2 snacks per night . You can choose from table service or counter service for each meal (so if you can eat that much food, you might as well eat all table service meals). The table service meals include appetizer, entrée, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. "Signature Restaurants" still count as 2 table service meals with this plan. You also receive a refillable mug per person, to be used at your resort.

Hope this helps!!;)

And gratuity is included on dinner shows, such as luau and hoop dee doo review. You are also ask to be placed in category 1 seating for these shows.

So, if we get the dining plan, we are moved to the category 1 seating?

As long as there are still seats in cat.1 and you ask (ahead of time...or at time of booking). These are typically more expensive seating.

But it still doesn't include tip for non shows...right? With a family of 7 (4 are adult/disney adult) that would be 339.93 a day just for that plan. The sit down meals we eat usually run 150-180.00 so IF we could eat 3 of them, that would save us over 200.00 (including those 2 snacks) but add on approximately 32.00 (18%) tip for all three meals and we're out another 96.00 per day....OUCH!

I can't see how that's eating free LOL

How exactly do you figure that $70 per person Per day is almost free?

Its almost impassible to get two meals a day for 70 dollar here in Europe. Thats hardly enough for a dinner and than I even can`t eat lobster ore anything fancy.

For 70 dollar I can get an decent lunch and a wonderful sit down dinner in the evening.
Last year we had a total of around 1000 dollar just for eating OOP for only 5 days,3 persons.

Then last but not least our Euro is so strong that 70 dollar is only 50 Euro and that’s good for my purse and my humor.
I just look with diffrend Euro eyes and for us ist a real bargain.

I still think its a good plan, my kids aren't 70 each, they're at a lower rate....with what we're planning to do and where we're planning on eating, we'll still be ahead of the game.

I didn't think the 2008 plan included appetizers?
