I believe parking is $14.00 for the day in the garage and there are no prepaid parking packages available.

is there a parking charge for resort guests?
If your a onsite hotel guest you only need to pay to park at the hotel and then you can take the water taxis to the parks

If you leave and come back, you don't need to repay, right?

The charge is by the day- leave as often as you like- When we stayed over thanksgiving week we were never charged a parking fee for the HRH- a glitch I'm assuming- but one that saved us 75.00

Or a very nice person at the front desk :thumbsup2

A little off the price topic, but is there abundant parking at the resorts? Are the lots big enough to justify Valet parking and its added expense?

I believe she's asking about the hotel, not the garage. Parking is $15/day for self-park and $22 for valet. I've never heard of a package that included parking but you can call reservations and ask.

The thing that bugs me about the hotels is that APH, which gives you free parking in the garage, isn't valid at the hotels and you can't leave your car in the garage overnight

If someone wants to drop you off you get 30 minutes for free then thay charge you $20/day for non-guest parking. I'm dropping off guests in March then moving the car over to the garage so it won't cost me anything.

Not in my opinion, but the whole concept behind the hotel is the rock star treatment. Most rock stars don't park their own cars.

When we were at RPR this past June people were complaining that there was not enough spaces for self parking but never heard or seen any problems with Valet parking

NOPE! I was asking about the Universal Parking for the parks.

Well this is the Hotel forum, not the park forum. In that case, Metro is correct. It's $14/day, free if you have a PAP or better. You can come and go as you please until 2am or so when cityWalk closes but no overnight parking.

Sorry, I thought I posted it on the Universal forum.

You did but there are more than one Universal Forum. You posted it on the Universal Hotels forum and not the Universal Parks Forms. No matter, all questions eventually get answered anyways!
