How Much Is It Costing You To Go To Orlando In 2011?

We are going July 9th-17th.

2 adults, 4 children (8, 6, 4, 1)

So far, we have paid for:
RT Airfare for 5 (baby will be a lap rider) - $897
8 nights at Quality Suites Lake Buena Vista + Rental Car (Van) - $920
5 - 6 day park hoppers + water parks - $1001
Breakfast at CRT one morning - $225

Estimates of other costs:
Gas to/from airport - $50
Airport parking - $70
Food - $500
Souvenirs/parking/misc. - $200

Total for the trip - Roughly $3900...not bad since there are 6 of us.

Double to triple what I normally pay thanks to a late Easter! I don't want to add up the amount this year!

We are going to Disney November 16-25.

Flights $361 each x 2 = $722
Tickets - free through Airmiles Rewards
2 nights at Pop Century - $214
7 nights in timeshare condo - $0 ($448 in maintenance fees that I am not counting as I am able to use my timeshare for another trip this year and I have to pay maintenance fees whether I use my timeshare or not).
Car Rental - $200
Food & Soveniors $500

So total of $1,636.

Friends are joining us and their cost breakdown is:

Flights $240 each x 4 = $960
Tickets - free through Airmiles Rewards
2 nights at Pop Century - $214
7 nights in timeshare condo - $0
Car Rental $200
Insurance $130
Food & Soveniors: ???

Total hard costs without Food and Soveniors is $1,500 for family of 4.

10days park passes no hoppers or water parks

3100.00 for package

Budgeting anywhere from $700-$1000 in food

total = roughly $2500

We are going in October, taking youngest 2 sons and their families (6 adults, 2 children).

We are staying DVC at Beach Club in a 2 bedroom and a studio. I used corporate miles for all 8 plane tickets.

I estimate tickets, towncar and food to cost $5000. We don't buy Disney Souveniers.

550 - one night at por, week at windsor hills
460 - gas and tolls
75 - parking
350 - MNSSHP
700 - Uni (will be using the remaining days on this ticket in 2013 so I consider it an investment :thumbsup2 )
270 - dd's ticket to wdw (the rest of us already have them)
750 - food

So that is a rough estimate of 3155

$306.12 for 4 days and 3 nights at the All Star Sports Resort
$392.00 BEFORE tax for 3 (2 Adults 1 child) FL resident 3 day MYW Tickets...no hopping.

So....just under $700. I've got my spending money in our vacation account ready to go, but not activating card til the week of our trip. I haven't considered gas or food, but again...spending money. Well, I did consider food. We'll have to do a lot of our eating away from Disney as we eat kosher and kosher restaurants are a pretty penny, but I believe I figured food to be about $66 a day....so $22 a person. There's me, DH, and DS, and DS will NEVER eat that much food. We'll do breakfast in room...cereal or danishes that I've brought from home and the other meals will either be CS at a restaurant that serves kosher in MK or AK and the kosher restaurant offsite. So $66, we'll round up to $70x4=$280 for food over 4 days for 3 people. Round up to $300.

So grand total would be....just about $1000.

4 Adults: 13 nights 14 days

2 nights at Pop
11 Nights at CBR (Free Dining)
La nouba
souvie money
Tour Guide Mike
Photopass
Money for food on days without DP
Tip
Park Hopper and more option
Total: $5,133.74

Including 600 for airfare for DH and I
Sister and brother got 50,000 miles from mom.

We are looking at 2 adults and 4 kids (8,7,5,2). 8 days/7nights at the all star music family room with park tickets and meal plan. Its costing us $5200 including air fare which I thought was a fantastic price by our travel agent. This is why we can't do this often.

Kids got in to have lunch at Cinderella's table and I got dinner reservations at Le Cellier so all in call can't complain.

We are going December 15-27th this year and so far the budget for a family of 4 looks like this:

driving round trip $250
2 nights at Hard Rock club level $500 but hoping for a APH rate as time gets closer
Universal tickets $598
Food @ Universal $150

11 nights at OKW 1 bed DVC we are members so no $ there
Disney tickets $1072
Food budget $1300
Tips/extras $300
the kids are saving their own spending money

total $4200 for a 2 week trip. We feel like that is a bargain because we are skipping other Christmas gifts this year and just making the trip the gift. We usually spend about $2000 or so at Christmas and will just make up the difference through other savings this year. I am taking a small tree and we will do little gifts from the parks on Christmas morning.

happy planning to you all!!

2 adults, 1 teenager
Spring Break

Hotel:
3 nights at POR - $459 (AP Discount)
3 nights BCV (DVC) - $0
1 night AKL (DVC) - $0
DVC is paid for. We only have 50 points so our dues this year were $248. We bank and borrow as needed.

Food and Other expenses: $1500
$200/day is about right for us. We eat mostly QS but have a couple of ADR's. The only souvenir shopping we do is at one of the outlets. We also will hit IKEA at least once.

Tickets: AP's

Gas: $100

Kenneling: $300

Total: about $2500 for a week. Not bad.

Driving from MI (4 DDs and myself, meeting up with DSis and her family):

~ Gas and tolls $300

~ 1 hotel on the way down $75

~ 2 hotels on the way back (sightseeing), still $75 because one is free with HHonors pts

~ 5 nights at Royale Parc Suites (sharing a 2 bdrm with DSis, sleeps 10), my share is $300

~ 3 day YES tix (5) approx. $680

~ Food money for the parks $107 (bringing a ton of groceries with us as we have a kitchen at the resort)

~ Food money for non-park times (Pollo Campero in DTD, World of Coke and KFC museum on the way home, plus a Taco Bell meal on the road) $75

~ Parking $42

~ Not factoring in any souvenir money because the DDs take their own, and I will have a GC

~ So, my total out of pocket for 5 nights, 6 days in FL, 3 days of parks, plus 3 nights on the road sightseeing for the 5 of us is $1654

Some things that I was able to get for free and aren't included in the budget:

*Admission to World of Coke (got passes with Coke Rewards)
*Pizza Hut dinner (MyPoints GC)
*Taking the girls to Beaches and Cream for the Kitchen Sink ~ free with my Disney Visa rewards
*Getting one or two Disney souvenirs from Target (GC from MyPoints ~ we found some really great souvies here last year!!)
*Free movie at DTD with GCs I've earned

Honestly, I would like to be able to trim this even more (my goal was to keep it under $1500), but I simply can't cook every single meal on vacation.

3 adults & 2 kids for 5 nights in June

$331.88 with tax for Hotel (Quality Suites Lake Buena Vista)
$350.00 gas
$500.00 food & souvies
$0 tickets (we have BG season passes here, so we get in free to all parks there Seaworld, Aquatica, BG Tampa)

Total $1200 (ballpark) I actually think the food will be less. We don't eat much in the heat.
Another Florida vacation....priceless.:lovestruc

Just me and DH this May.

Airline = $0 (I get free airline tickets cuz of my job! :) )
Left over 3 day ticket from '05 trip = $0
Transport to/from home/airport/hotel = $0 (friend will drive us to/from ORD, DME from/to MCO)
5 nights Pop w/DDP and 2 days of park tickets = $1443
Misc. spending money (food/drinks beyond DDP, tips, souvies etc.) = $200

So grand total for 5 nights with air, hotel, park tickets, food, ground transportation, and misc. expenses is $1643 for two adults. Not too shaby!

We had a budget of $4K and pretty much stuck to it. I did go over by like $100 because a good deal came up on BCV vs. BC. Airfare around $550 for 2 roundtrip from Manchester to Orlando. Park passes for 6 days and 6 nights split between CR MK view & a 1 BR at BCV. The only variable is food, but we're pretty content with CS this trip. Maybe one or two nice table meals and probably quite a few super cheap meals in the villa.

Wow! Our trip seems really cheap, compared to what everyone else seems to be paying! We are four adults.

Our airfare is $174 rt per person from DFW
Seven nights at our rental home is around $560, inc tax
Standard size rental car from Hertz (Hotwire) is $158
Four 7 day MYW tickets from UT $988

I have no idea what our food cost will be. We don't make ADRs. We just eat whenever we get hungry so it will be mostly counter service in the parks and drive-through offsite, with all breakfasts at the house.

For 5 people (3 A, 2 C, 1 under 3) going during free dining we will spend no more than $2800 all inclusive.
Breakdown:
5 plane tixs from LAX to Orlando: $100 (Frequent Flier Miles cashed in) Free bags on Southwest
8 days Carribean Beach Resort, free dining, park tixs, no hoppers, no waterparks approx. $2100
Rental Car & gas $200
Parking at airport $100
Souvenirs: $75
Tips $200

Port Orleans for 4 nights with reg. dinning plan, 2 adults $904, air fare from MSP $478, Four day PH for two adults $276. Taking ME to resort.
