How much has your holiday increased since booking?

I was almost too scared to play, but glad I did

Our basic package with Virgin (PE flights both ways, upgraded villa) flying out 9th August for 21 nights

price today £11168
we paid £9033

A difference of £2135

We haven't bought park tickets yet.

We booked this time last year and also had some Tesco vouchers off the cost (£1500). This is an expensive holiday for us but I don't feel as bad now!

About 1500. Look how much we saved, does that mean we can spend more when we are there?:rotfl2:

2adults and 2 infants v room at gatwick

we are paying £2992 for everything except a car as i havent booked it yet

todays prices

£8392.30 without disney tickets!!

ouch

If we booked our package (hotel+tickets+DDP) today, it would cost over £1500 more than what we paid. ;)

I can't really compare flight prices as our outbound flight has disappeared from the VA website.

Jeez... I've just checked ours, and for the hotel/flights/tickets it's +1400 quid for the two of us :scared1:

Luckily the escape wedding hasn't increased in price, but I'm glad we booked when we first started planning the wedding now!

CAN I PLAY, CAN I PLAY!!

Mine isnt that impressive though!

2 adults - Aug 31st to Sept 17th - Booked with Travel City

only a £300 increase but still thats like Discovery Cove for the both of us or three very nice meals lol!
:thumbsup2 exactly

No, it means we can all book again as soon as possible:rotfl2:

While I can't compare holiday prices as I have only needed to book flights for the ICP, I will just compare the flight instead :goodvibes

BA LGW-MCO direct June 19th & MCO-LGW direct September 2nd = £475 in December 2010.

Today, the same flight costs £811.

Geesh :scared1:

Think how many cocktails and beers I can buy with that extra £336 :cool1:

Good thing you listened to me:rotfl2:, my exact words were "£475 is a bargain Beth, I wouldn't hesitate at that price. £505 with Opodo"

Wow, I just looked at my trip in October for me and DS

6 nights OKW 1BR + tickets and free DDP- £1528 now -£2854

Flights (airmiles part cash)- £640 Now- £3602

Total - £2168 now- £6356

Difference: a whopping £4188:scared1:

That's without including the 2 nights BCV I have booked using my points and as they are no longer available I would have to add another £500 for a room at the Beach Club to that.
The biggest difference is with the flights as the return journey alone is now £1620pp(economy)

I do this a lot, to justify how much I've spent('Look how much it could have cost')!

i can't play the game, since i never booked..
it was way too costly when i priced and even worse now..

i can go price it, as i'm sure it's gone up...
