How much for the "extras"?

I am debating on how much money I should budget for all of the "extras" we will be spending on our upcoming trip...

I have budgeted in the airport parking of $50 for the week and we have purchased the dining plan...

I have told my two children that they each get $100 to spend any way they like but it has to cover everything extra that they want..Suvineirs, extra snacks, arcade games, ect...

I was planning on taking a total of $700 with us...And after giving the kids $100 a piece, it would leave $500 left over for things like, extra tips, maybe an extra CS breakfast or two, maybe a couple of trips to the Downtown Disney clubs for me and the wife at night...and then maybe a few extras for the kids...

Am I shorting myself or the kids? When I first budgeted the trip, it seemed like it would be plenty of extra money for a week but now I am not so sure...

I have already paid for the hotel ( POR ), the park tickets and the dining plan...

We usually take between 1200 to 1500 for a week's trip and that amount needs to cover our food and meal expenses. Since we have been fortunate the past couple of years to be heading to WDW more frequently, I have really curtailed the souvenair budget. Since my children are into pin trading, I have made it a rule that one "special" pin usually a limited edition pin will be purchased for each one and then they get about $25.00 each for anything else. We usually pick up any extra snacks. We stay DVC and while we do not eat in at every meal, we do make use of the kitchen.

It sounds like you have the major budget items covered.

It is tough knowing what the "right" amount of money to take is. But if you have a credit card in case of an emergency, then you should be fine.
