I've started my "cruise collection" for my 6/26 Wonder trip.
This box of film has 5 rolls of 24 exp. = 120
In a week at WDW, I usually shoot a little more than 200 photos.
How much do you usually shoot on the 4-nighter?
I'm planning to take my 8mm camcorder, a waterproof disposable, and my new digital. I don't trust the digital yet (only got it for Christmas). Also, I've already found that bright sun and the LCD viewer don't go together....you can't see anything!
Won't need it, I'm sure, but does the ship have the means to download your digital media cards onto a cd like they are doing in the parks and resorts now?
Thanks,
Melanie

Hi Melanie,

I just came home today from the 2/4 Eastern. At last count, I shot 18 rolls over 7 days... and we do not have children. It is easy to take pictures (lots and lots) without even trying.

Have fun!
Renée

I am glad to see there are picture hounds just like me...I never come home with less than 25-30 rolls of film... :rotfl:

I'm probably not a good answer to go by, but on a 7 day my mom and I went through 50 rolls of film and 1000 pictures on the digital camera... Didn't want to miss a single thing to bring home and brag about. :rotfl:

Way to go....My family thinks I'm nuts taking so many pictures but I love to remember everything. They weren't bugging me after our trip to Las Vegas for my brothers wedding because while everyone was spending their days in the casinos I was out seeing the sites and hotels on The Strip. They all wanted copies of my pictures when we got home!!!! I think in those 10 days I took 28 rolls and on our last vacation which was a 4 day Wonder cruise and 7 days at Disney World and I took 30 rolls of film and had them all developed and in the photo albums before we left to come home. Out of the 720 pictures, I think there are only about 2 or 3 that I would consider non-scrapbook worthy!!!!

i take anywhere from 200-400 pictures on my vacation. On my 7 days its around 300, but on the last 10-day i took a heck of a lot more than that. i forget what the total came out to be.

shutters will make you a cd of the pictures from your memory card. $14.95 each time. Start practicing with your digital now to learn its in&outs. You will be surprised how soon you will be taking great pictures with it!!

They usually charge $20-25 to put pictures on a cd. I'd recommend instead just buying a bigger memory card for your camera. Depending on the format it takes, you can get 1 GB for < $100 now. With that much storage space, you'll never have to worry about having to offload pictures. Even a 512 MB card, depending on your camera's resolution, should give you plenty of space for many hundreds of pics.

For those traveling through airports - How to you handle your film when you get to the x-ray machines? Early on when they first started scanning all luggage that was checked I didn't even think about my new unexposed rolls of film in my suitcase. Needless to say the pictures did not come out good. Now I try to buy the film when I land. When I am returning home I have them hand inspected it my the security seems annoyed. I usually use 400 speed. I know some say if it is under 800 it should be okay but I am not willing to risk it.

Hahaha... Now that you mention that... My mom put ALL her film in a separate suitcase (trust me, it all fit), but they wanted to check EACH film canaster individually, so she sat on the floor and took EVERY roll of film out of the canasters and then put them all back in.. My dad, my sister and I were already on the other side of the Xray machines laughing at her. :rotfl:
