How much extra for a trundle bed in PORS?

I am wondering how much extra per night it costs for the Alligator Bayou rooms with the small built-in Murphy bed?

There's no extra charge for the Murphy bed. They got rid of the trundle bed in POR. If you have 5 in your group, you are guaranteed to be put in the AB section. If there is 4, then you would have to request to be put in the AB, and hopefully your request will be granted, otherwise, you will be put in the Mansion section.

I don't think that they are "extra" unless you request a preferred room, which I always do and I suggest to others. This is just where they put families whith 5 people.

Thanks for the info. There are only 4 of us (my DD ,DS,DH and I), but it would be great if the kids had their own bed. I guess I can only put in a request and there is no guarantee that I would get a room with a Murphy bed.

Actually at POR you can guarantee yourself a room with a Murphy bed. You have to book a preferred room. All of the preferred rooms at POR are alligator bayou rooms and they all have the Murphy bed.

The preferred rooms are $25 more per night than a standard room at POR.

We stayed in Alligator Bayou building 14 back in January -- shortly after the renovations were completed. Note, the "murphy" bed is not full size. My 12 year old niece barely fit into it length wise and she is only 4'8". Also, the bed is built to resemble a shipping crate and has the television directly over it and an Alligator on the wall when you pull it down.

She loved it, however, but if you have tall kids, they might not fit!
