We're considering a late dessert in the castle, the CM I talked to while on the phone said that the slipper dessert was available there. No mention of having to pre order it either.

I don't know, but I'm hoping someone does....I'm thinking about adding a meal in the castle just for this to our fall trip.

Its not the same exact slipper that is available at the Grand Floridian only but a similiar version for the 50th celebration. It is at Crt and I think it is about 10.00 dollars. You do not need to preorder or anything like that it is a regular item on the menue. It is a milk chocolate ( not white) slipper on what I believe is angle food cake . I have seen a pic somewhere on the threads and its really pretty. You can do a search on this thread and maybe you will find the pic. Hope I have answered all your questions and have a great trip!!!

Dh doesn't like milk chocolate (freak!) but I do. I wonder if they can order him a white chocolate one.

I wonder why its' cheaper than the GF one? Last year we paid $14 for the GF slipper. The slipper looked like dark chocolate in the picture, but I would rather have the dark or milk chocolate than the white chocolate. We changed our PS's around so that we now have a PS for dinner at the castle just so I could get this dessert!

We'll be at the GF while DD is at the wonderland tea party. I'll pre order one for him then that'll be a great surprise! $14 I can handle for some reason I had it in my head that they were $30 :earseek: hummmmm can the GF do a milk chocolate one for me?! LOL

Someone recently reported getting the white chocolate slipper at the Castle and not the dark chocolate much to their surprise.

Someone else also reported calling and asking the GF if they'd do the dark chocolate slipper and they said no.

I do not know why there is such a price different from the Castle's new slipper and GF's version.

Here's a picture of the Castle's slipper:

How can I find a place with either 2 white slippers or one of each?

GF has the white chocolate slippers. I asked if they could make the dark chocolate and they said no. I can't figure out why.

I'd say possibly because the one at the Grand Floridian has the extra mousse cup on the side, instead of berries.

The Cindercelebration Slipper at CRT is White Chocolate not dark chocolate, we had it last Saturday, It was $10.

Okay, is this considered a dessert for the dining plan? Or do we have to pay extra for it?

This is considered a dessert on the dining plan, we did the dining plan last week and we ordered 2 Cindy shoes. There is no pre-ordering needed it was just a menu option for desserts. DD4 shared a meal with me and DH got one but was too full so he just gave it DD4, she loved it.
