How much does the Disney laundromats cost?

We're plannin on packin light for our trip so that we can carry-on at the airport. We'll have to do laundry half way through the trip. How much do the washer & dryers cost at All-Star Movies?

When we were there in Dec 2002 it was $2 to wash and $2 to dry.

still $2 to wash and $2 to dry but the dry cycle is onle hald hour and took me 2 times to dry. The soap is $1 a load same for fabric softner. I was there 2 weeks ago. Took me a total of $8 a load.

You can buy the small travel size boxes of Tide at target for one dollar. I think each box did 3 loads. I bought them when we went in June and it worked out really well and saves a little bit of money.

I thought I was the only one who does this!! When I took my kids last I did this so we could pack light and I personally liked doing this.. I would probably do again... I bought the small boxes and brought a few with me and midway thru the week I washed clothes one evening when we got back from the parks..

Allergy allert--

I am allergic to tide--

And that is all they sell on property. So if you intend to do laundry--it is best to bring your own soap if you can.

We ended up using half amounts (during Frances---we knew we wouldn't have power out home but forgot our own soap)--clothes were wearable--but I could still smell it and it did still bother me a bit.

Scary thing is we found out they wash all towels and bed linens in Tide. Scary--b/c I'm not allergic to the linens and towels--so how much soap do they use to wash these...hmmm....

We took the Tide tablets and a dryer sheet with us. At Pop the dryer kept going and going after 50 min. I opened it and took out my clothes which were very dry!!!

I was going to post that when I did my was at POR the dryers took for ever to dry....2 cycles.

I would bring a ziplock bag of powdered detergent or a small bottle of liguid, and my own dryer sheets
