Hi everybody! We are going to Disney next year in June. Since June has passsed, how many times does or did it rain in a normal 7 day week? Thanks for all your help.

Mr. Mike

We went for 13 days in June of 2005 and I don't really want to be a downer, but it rained everyday with the exception of one. A low pressure system had come along and just stalled over Orlando. Having said this, I want you to know I truely believe we had a better time than if it would have been sunny the whole time. First of all it really kept the temps. down, the day we first arrived it was unbearably hot but once the raines moved in it wasn't to bad. Most importantly if kept the lines down. After the first day we made peace with the rain, the 4 of us threw on ponchos and just went for it. The day we went to Animal Kingdom there was no lines and we even got to ride alot of the E-ticket rides twice. Plus we saw more animals than we had ever seen before. My advice. Before you go head to the dollar store and stock up on their ponchos they rip easily. if you have childern, borrow sissor from the front desk and cut them to fit. Have fun and roll with the punches. :moped: :rotfl: :surfweb: :drinking1

last week of June and everyday but 1 .

But most were light and passed fast .We were at the waterparks most of the times and by the time we ate it was over and the slide lines were very small.

DON"T LET THE RAIN bother you most of the times it will be very quick and there are many things to do under cover in every park.

We didn't even get poncho's this year and just kept going .

Once summer hits, you take your chances every day. Don't think you will be the first to leave WDW without either the souvenier Mickey umbrella and or rain slicker. These are a given. I have 9 umbrellas and 6 slickers. The rest have broken over the years. :teeth:

We live here, we love it here, but come prepared. We get rain. Sunshine state is a very wet state. It rains. The tourist board and travel agents think this is a very touchy and hush-hush secret. We are subtropical. Where there's sun, there's rain.

Hope I answered your question. You will have a wonderful vacation. There is also a good chance of experiencing percipitation :confused3

Oh my! I meant to buy one of those umbrellas every day when it rained, and never got around to it! We were too busy taking advantage of short lines to duck into a shop.

We were there at the beginning of July, and it rained every day but one. The rains didn't last terribly long, and like others said, it cooled everything down and shortened some ride lines.

Don't let the rain worry you.

We were there the first week of June in '04 and it rained everyday, but one. Sometimes it was just a shower for a few minutes and sometimes it poured and sometimes it poured for a few minutes. Like the previous posters have said, be sure to take ponchos and don't the rain keep you from enjoying your trip!

We have gone during the first part of june for 5 to 10 days each time over the last 3 years. In 2004 it didn't rain at all during 5 days we were there but began raining the day after we left. In 2005 it rained some every day except one and one day it poured all day. This year (2006) we were in Orlando at WDW and Universal for 10 days and it rained a little on 4 different days. It also rained a lot starting at around 1pm the day we were leaving. For the most part I think you should expect it to rain a little every day, but also be prepared for either extreme also. Its not unusual to have a small afternoon shower almost every day in Florida during the summer.
