How much will a 5 day Park Hopper Pass Cost? if......



When we arrive, on our first day, we are going to the Animal Kingdom.
I guess we'll go to "guest relations" or "ticket counter??" and
"trade in" our 1 day that's left on our old 1999 park hopper passes.

We need 5 days for wdw. Does anyone know how much that one day is worth from 1999?

Also, we're going to Typhoon Lagoon and DisneyQuest. Is there a better deal/value w/ another type of park hopper that i'm unaware of??

Take the amount printed on the back and divide it by the number of days the pass had on it, then multiply that number by the amount of days left. That is what it is worth. I am using the 100.00 for illustrative purposes only.
IE: 4 day pass at 100.00. 100.00/4= 25.00x1(day left)=25.00.

my suggestion is that it is not really a good idea to use that ticket towards a new pass. Use the remaining day and buy a 4 day pass.

Hi. I totally agree with Gail (I usually do!) From an accountant's point of view, your ticket is worth more now then it was when you purchased it... You won't get the current value of the tix if you trade them in. So your best bet would be to purchase your 4 day tix in advance from ticketmania, like Gail said, and use the one day left on your first day.

If plan on going to TL and DQ, you will need to get a Plus ticket so you can use it at TL and you will need DQ passes since plusses are not good for DQ. If you don't have any plusses, you will have to get a TL ticket as well.

Also, if you do this after you arrive, you will be losing the Advance Purchase Discount on the 5 day pass. Just buy a 4 day before you go.

Two years ago, we had PHP's with a day left on each ticket that were from 2000, we just stuck them into the turnstyle and got in with no problem. Didn't have to stop at guest services or anything. You should be able to do that with the day you have left and then just buy a 4 day PHP.

I agree with everyone else. I think it would be less expensive to buy the tickets in advance and add in a DQ ticket. Another good place to buy advanced tickets at a discount is at www.mapleleaftickets.com They have DQ, PHP, waterpark, and PI tickets at a discount. They do charge $4.95 for S/H unless you pick up your tickets from their office in Kissimmee.

A 4 day Park Hopper Plus ticket for an adult is $226/ child $185 and a DQ ticket is $22.95 adult and $19 child.

A 5 day PHP is $266 adult and $215 child. You can see that you save about $10 by buying the 4 day PHP and using your day from your ticket you already have.

If you wait to upgrade your day left on your pass to a 5 day PHP at the gate when you get to DW, you will pay $300.34 adult/ $240.70 child minus your prorated day. It definitely pays to buy in advance!
