How much do you tip a party hostess?

I am havign my 5 year old's party at a bowling alley and just wondering how much people tip the hostess? there is 1 hostess and 20 kids

we just had a bowling party in feb... the girl did NOTHING! i was so shocked! I tipped nothing... she basically dumped trays in the room and walked out. I have had several partys at the roller rink and tipped each girl 25-30... a piece.

In my opinion if she did a good job you would probably tip $10 or more. If it was ok, $5 or so.

OOPS! I am normall a good tipper (20% at restaurants) but I never tipped a party hostess at any of my childrens bdays. The $15 a head with a 10 minimum was enough $$ for me. They never really did much though.

I have tipped and not tipped. To me it depends on service. If the host/hostess does a good job and puts forth effort I will tip based on how many kids are in attendance. I have never tipped more than 20 I don't think.

Same here... It never even occured to me to tip a host/hostess.
