what is the average amount of $ that people take to wdw? i am taking close to $150 this year! i usually take how ever much i get for x-mas and my b-day and other stuff which is usually a lot! last year i took like $75 and came home with $20! but what do you take or what are you aloud to take..........or do you just ask your mommies and daddies for money and you get anything you want?!? that's usually how it is with food for me though!

Here is some advice, don't take large ammounts of money into the parks. There have been reports of someone seeing someone else waving around large ammounts of cash, and actually followed them back to the hotels or whatever, and robbed them. Thats why I usually only take like, $20-30 at most.

FYI......i am not that stupid to take 100's of dollars into one park. besides, i don't even carry it...........my daddy does! lol. i usually split it up between the days i'm there then spend only that much.........usually 30 dollars+. i'll probally have to carry my own this year cause i'm taking a back pack but wutevr! oh and , i lost $25 at king's island last year and we called the next day and they had it! but, its also way smaller than WDW so there aren't as many idiots who take people's money. just wanted to clear that issue!

Well geeze. You didn't have to be all, !!!, about it. :confused3

Also not to be mean or anything...but,
but, its also way smaller than WDW so there aren't as many idiots who take people's money.
...that makes no sense.

well normally I don't carry around the money if my parents are with me. But on the band trip, my parents aren't going to be there. (well they ARE coming to see me march but they aren't going around the parks with me. haha). I'm probably gonna bring around $200ish. but the most I'll carry around on me at once is $50. If I see something I want in the parks that's alot of money (like more than a shirt/etc would cost...), I'll tell my parents and they'll buy it. the rest of my money will be in the safe at the hotel. :)

100-200$ normally. It really depends on how much shopping I do..

He was being sarcastic.

...

But honestly, this is why it doesn't make sense. Disney is bigger. You get more people going to Disney, which means the chances running into an idiot goes up. You interact with more people. That may not make sense to you, but it does to the rest of the world. :confused3

That's pretty much what i said.........WDW IS bigger and kings island IS smaller.........so there are fewer idiots there.(at kings island; just so u dont get mixed up)

I take 150$ but not in cash. I give my parents the money, then when I want something I ask them for money and subtract it from that 15-$ but I dont usually spend money at WDW I spend it on clothes as we have NO GOOD STORES where I live.

I bring my credit card which is almost like carrying around money..lol, I spend around $350-$700(including food, drink, and trinkits) the average price a day for food is around $200-$300 for a family of for. (Cheese burger is $8.99 so that's $35.96 for for people plus $2.50 for a drink is $45.96, lets say you ate a cheeseburger for breakfast, lunch, and dinner is $137.88, and you'll have to get a little snack and extra drink on top of that so it all adds up. Of course you're not going to eat a cheeseburger for breakfast so a stack of pancakes usually goes for the same price ($8.99).
I remember when drinks used to be $1.75 at the park, along with the churros and popcorn was $2.50.

i take with me for the whole trip like $400 or $500 or something like that. but each day my parents take like $100 to the parks so i can get pretty much whatever i want. the only day they take more is the day we go to mgm cause i can spend like $120 at tatooine traders. i don't carry the money though, my mom does. although i do have about $40 on me in my wallet incase im by myself and i see a pin or i want ice cream or something like that. i also have a credit card so i can also use that. but usually when i buy things my parents r with me

You said the complete opposite from what I could tell. :confused3

Since I am from Canada, I'm going to get all my money exchanged before we head to WDW. I'll probably take about $200 with me, just to make sure that I have enough money to get the things I want and bring back some stuff for family and friends.

Hmm, I find that VERY offensive, and you don't want to get on my bad side. I don't think it's fair to judge those you hardly know.

Whenever we plan a trip I usually start saving up, and then I take all of it. I usually try to have around $200, and of course its never enough.
