We don't have a set budget. We usually see approximately how much we want to spend at the time and plan around that. It all depends on what kind of deals we can get, where we want to stay etc. We have gone 4 times in less than a year and I am trying to get another trip in before our new baby is born. We are currently a family of 5 soon to be 6. We do fly as we are coming from NY. I try to get SW Ding fares and usually pay about $50 each way per ticket. We did the dining plan twice and it was nice but sometimes it's too much pressure to be at a reservation everyday. We love WDW so we try to go as often as possible!

I just wanted to add that we always get park hoppers (no water parks though- the kids are too young) and we almost always stay at a Deluxe. We like to go for at least a week but have stayed anywhere from 6-9 days. I think next year we might do a 2 week trip. We'll see.

Depends, when its myself and my 2 boys we can go very cheap with AP's already purchased from a previous trip and members of DVC we can stay a week for well under $1000. If its a trip where we have to buy our ticket media, dining plan, and so on it can run anywhere from $4000 and up.

How many nights? Depends. In Dec. we generally only stay 7-9 days. In the summer we take alot more time at our resort and pool so we tend to book 10-14 days.

The amount varies widely on who is going, how long, are the AP's already purchased. But the range can be anywhere from 1000-6000. We tend to tour 2-3 times one year then take a year off from Disney and do other things and then back to Disney the next year for several trips.

Most people wouldn't do the car and babysitting so we are splurging a bit. I haven't spent a night away from our house in FIVE years so I think we are due, LOL!

This represents a LOT of money (10% of our salary), but I using our tax return and some inheritence money to fund it of which a huge chunk is going into retirement savings.

We see this trip as our 'once-in-a-lifetime' trip. It'll be the only time we will be able to take a 2 week trip as a family during the off season - ever. We plan only 3-4 WDW trips before the kids are off to college, so we are pacing ourselves.

Our small money saving ideas are to bring a stroller and car seats (save about $300) and eat most meals in the unit and save the $ for our adult dinners (Cal Grill, Le Celler, etc) and char breakfasts.

At least it is less than our Disney Wedding which was $10,000!!! (and that's not counting the honeymoon, airfare or lodging!)

There are 5 of us. My Grandma taught me a long time ago how to budget and get the most and best you can for good prices. I'm really big on finding bargains!
I wait for things to go on sale(when I can)
My DH is in the military so we get our tickets on base(saves on taxes)
We live in Florida so I get Value Resorts with the Florida Resident codes. If we stay elsewhere we use military rates when we can. I also am signed up for most hotel rewards and we use those when we can.
We buy lunchmeat when we get there so our first night meal is sandwiches and chips. I bring breakfast foods to eat in the room. The money we save there makes it where we can have a decent lunch in the parks and one night splurge and have a really good dinner.
I try to get what clothes I can on ebay. Just bought personalized shirts for me and DD for this next trip.
I know there's more, but just can't think right now.
All in all I manage to keep it under 2000.00 for a 4 day trip, keep in mind this is for 2 rooms cause we do have 5 people.

Since this is "our vacation", I splurge a lot on us/family, and we have a wonderful time.

Well when the nest was full, there were 5 of us who always went DS, DS & DD. Now the nest is empty, so it's just the 2 of us that go now. We've taken the grandson twice already, he's only 4 right now.

We usually stay for 8-9 nights at BWV, our DVC resort in a 0ne bdrm villa. We've been going every year since 86' and we usually stayed at CR, GF, WL and BC resorts. We joined DVC in 98', and it was a GREAT decision! We love BWV. Our favorate time to go is in July. Crazy I know, but that's when we enjoy it the most.

WE use WeGoShop and have some basic snacks, water, breakfast foods delivered to our room. We always eat lunch out and do a TS for dinner. We love going to character meals; breakfast or dinner as well as Fantasmic dinners.

We alwys fly. AA from DFW, or if a good deal shows up, from our regional airport to DFW and then on to MCO. At the airport, I hire a limo to take us to BWV. Splurging I know, but you can't take it with you!

We've been renewing our Annual Passes for years now.

I always take with me around $5k for the trip. I know this is a lot, but our vacation is a time of play and having fun together. This is used for eating, and those pesky souviners. We do a lot of Christmas shopping there.

We always manage to make at least one trip per year. There's been a time or two when we've gone twice.

We have a special account set up that has several hundreds of dollars deposited in it every month out of our paychecks. I purchase airline tickets very early and renew our AP's when it comes aropund. We've always had money left over when we come home

(all catagories plus spending, pets, car rentals, etc.) Last year we lucked out with free DDP and cheap airfares (including the baby) $2650 for DDP, airfare, hoppers and value resort for 6 days 5 nights. Additional $75 on food delivery. $115 OOP for food not covered on DDP and $250 in souveneiers, (INcluding the $60 the girls had of hteir own money to spend)
