How much do you spend on a Disney vacation?

How many people? (including infants)
How many nights?
Which catagory? (deluxe, moderate, budget, campground, DVC, offsite)
Disney dining plan or bring your own food, or buy at disney?
Drive or fly?
What type of tickets? (base, hopper, water, no expiration or annual passes)

How much do you spend all inclusive? (all catagories plus spending, pets, car rentals, etc.)

How much do you go? (once a yr., twice a yr., 3x a year, 4x a year, 5xplus a year, every other year, every 3 years, every 4 years, every 5 years, once in a lifetime or you think)

We drive- we've always lived within 9 hours of the Mouse, so it is easier to drive.

We fly. Before we had kids we'd be able to drive in about 24 hours but it's not possible now. We always figure in the cost of our time. DH only has 2 weeks vacation and spending 4 of those very precious days on the road isn't the best use of our family time.

How much I'd have to sit and really figure out, not sure I want to!!:rotfl: We got for 2 1/2 weeks.
We have 7 people in our family. 4 adults <12 & 11> and 3 children.
We rent a house in Kissimmee and we buy 99% of our food at the park.
we drive down, takes about 24 hours if we were to go straight, but we stay over one night at a hotel.
10 day non-expiring park hopper plus usually gets us 2 trips.
This is our 3rd year in a row! :-D
Oh and we put our 2 dogs in a kennel for about 700.00.

I voted drive because that's what we're doing this year. We've driven once before, we flew once as a family, and DH and I flew on our anniversary trip earlier this month.

For the people who drive, I am assuming you are closer? Or at least within 24 hours of WDW.

We fly - 24 hours driving in a car would be too much

We drove. It took 29 hours. The drive there went fast. The way home was very, very long!

We stayed for 7 nights, brought some food, but ate most at Disney. Spent lots on Disney stuff. We stayed at Sports. I think we spent total around 2500 for family of 4. We also had base tickets.

:drive: We will be driving. It's all my fault..lol  I'm terrified to fly. We rent a minivan when we go. It takes us about 14 hrs to get there, but the kids are happy, and their DVD movies keep them occupied. :cutie:
