I have a $ threshold. Today I tried on a pair that was over my threshold- and I LOVED them. I don't especially LOVE the ones I usually buy but they get the job done. The ones I LOVED today are not ridiculously expensive but more than I usually spend...wonder what other budget minded shoppers spend?

at about $40 I start to get a sick feeling! I ordered some from Victorias Secret recently that were $39.50 and I LOVE them!!! soo comfy!

$1 to $3 at the thrift store. Same brands as the stores and already broken in. Yard sales are good too, same price range and maybe even less if they want to clear out.

I don't buy jeans much so if I found a pair that I LOVED, I'd probably pay up to $50.

I'm another fan of the thrift stores for jeans. Last week I bought two pairs for $9 total.

My twos fave brands are Not Your Daughter's Jean and Jag. Both contain 4%spandex giving great comfort and they don't bag out as quickly as other jeans. Both brands also sit higher up towards the waist, have a nice slim cut on the legs, and a inseam of atleast 32 inches. NYD retail for around $100 and Jag for around $80. We carry them at our store so I get them for half off retail.

I can usually find a decent pair around $15 at Ross. I'll pay $20 sometimes, but that's pushing it! :)

I used to be the same way...I'd spend $ on jeans that just kind of got me by and ended up spending more on 10 pair of those that never got worn because I hated them.

Now...I have 4 pair of jeans...2 were purchased using gift cards..the other 2 were bought on sale and I absolutely LOVE THEM...ALL 4 PAIR!

Big Star Jeans bought at the Buckle. Yes, they are close to $100 a pair, but they have not worn out at all and I love wearing them. I had such a horrible time trying to find a pair that fit before these...there's no looking back now. :)

$40 would be my max. I wear lane bryant jeans and they have so many coupons I can normally spend $25.

I paid $49.99 for my favorite Tommy jeans. That's the most I've ever paid. They're getting pretty old & worn so I tried to buy another pair but they're just not the same. :confused3

I am VERY picky about my jeans! I'd rather not eat than for a week and spend the money on a pair of Jeans! I dont know if it is cause I am 5'10 or what but when I buy cheap pairs of Jeans... I dont have a but! It looks ridiculous on me! I end up with this rounded rump or something... that looks like I have no seperation in my bottom half! I am 5'10... and about 135. I dont know if its my height or what! But I will gladly spend a 100+ anyday on my jeans aslong as they look good on me!

I found some Lands End jeans that I like. My first pair finally wore out after 2 years (or maybe I outgrew them? :confused3) so I had to go buy new ones. I was prepared to pay $30-40 but was pleasantly surprised when they were on sale for $15. I got 2 pair.

I like having at least 1 sturdy pair of jeans and will pay more for them ($40 is my limit). I usually only pay $10-15 tops for my jeans.

we'll I just spent 29.99( orig $54) on a pr of jeans at kohls.... that is my upper limit.....I usually spend between 12-20 .... but these fit perfectly couldn't resist.... now I went shopping with my dear friend a few weeks ago who dropped $110 for a pair of jeans.......she didn't even bat an eye..........

I just bought some Seven jeans for $30. I love love the fit! It's hard to find a pair that fits right so this was a great find at $30.

I don't know if this would work on your height but my friend who is skinny solves the 'no butt' problem by shopping in the jr.s department.

I usually spend $1-$5 on a pair for myself at yard sales, and thrift stores. (I have gotten some nice name brands for this price that someone else paid a pretty penny for. Most look brand new!:thumbsup2)
I am losing weight and have been going through sizes pretty quickly. I've lost 80 pounds since March and have went from a 18-20 to a 13, so I really don't see buying new jeans that I'm not going to wear that long.
When I was at a steady weight, my limit on myself was $20. I have a few pair that my DH spent about $50 a pair on, for me as gifts. My goal is to get back down into them. (only 40 more pounds to go!!)

The ones I have on were $12 from American Eagle. I have several pairs of them. :thumbsup2

$50 is my threshold...no if, ands or buts...no pun intended.

I love Levi 512's which are usually 35-40 bucks. Occasionally BJ's will get them in and they price them at 19 so when I can grab some there I will stock up. :thumbsup2
