DH and I were talking about how much cheaper christmas trees are where we live now. I'm wondering how much difference there is in the cost of live trees.

We haven't purchased this years tree yet. Last year we paid $20 for a 14.5 foot tree. We live in southern Maine.

Question is.....
How much did you pay for your live xmas tree and where do you live?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

Depends on what kind of tree we get. I think the average we have paid is about $50.00. I need a tree with sturdy branches as our tree is mostly the Hallmark ornaments and they are heavy.

I am in Bucks County, PA

I'm in Minnesota, and it really depends on what kind of tree. We bought an 8 1/2 foot Frasier Fir and it was $60. You can get other varieties of tree much cheaper.

It usually cost us between 60-65 for our 7 foot Tree...We get the Frasier Fir tree

I just paid $109 for a 10 ft tree (don't know what kind) but it's for my work place and we have a member that reimburses the club as her contribution to Christmas

We're in southern Mississippi - I imagine a lot of the price is freight shipping it from up north

Florida - $48 for a 6-7 ft fraser fir trucked in from North Carolina.

You think the Hallmark ornaments are heavy, you should try the Disney ornaments that come in the boxed sets! No more of those for me! I already have to rotate which ornaments I put on each year. My tree can't hold all the heavy ones I have.

We just paid 60.00 for a 7 1/2 ft. Frazier Fir from NC yesterday. We live almost in Florida and the only Christmas trees that grow here are Douglass and Cedar. Even those were expensive at the farms!

$50 for a 7' pre lit tree 3 years ago. Got it 60% off after Christmas back then, so I guess we are saving serious Disney money here.::MickeyMo

The last time we trudged around a tree farm hunting a tree, we paid about $40 for it.

Last year it was $60 cuz we paid by the size of the tree -
Usually we go where it is $25 no matter the size and get a much larger (8 - 9 foot) but last year they were closed :(

Just paid $66 for a 6-7 foot Noble Fir. But, these always stay so fresh. Last year, after Christmas, my tree still looked like we had just brought it in-I hated to get rid of it.

$65 for a Fraiser Fir (8 1/2 feet) in New Orleans! I hate to think what I will pay next year since we should be in Tucson!

Just paid $25 for a 10 foot tall tree, we live in CT but go to MA to get our tree, so much cheaper!!!
