How much do you bring for DVC vacation?

Hello,

I am planning a trip to WDW for this summer in July. We will be 4 adults, one 8year old, and an infant. I am trying to sift through previous threads to guesstimate a good budget or daily amount of spending money for our 8 day trip at the THV. Can you please help me?

We have 4 table service dinners planned and the rest will be meals at the villa. We are likely to have at least one snack a day because eating good is my famiy's priority vs activities. I don't plan on buying much in terms of souvenirs because I will be going to the Disney Outlet store close to home. I want to have a reasonable budget with a little wiggle room since its our first vacation in 3 years.

I remeber our last trip in 2006 was for 8 days at SSR with three of us and we spent approx. $1000 and we ate like kings... imho. That did include a few souvenirs. Has wdw really gotten much more expensive? I just have no idea what to expect. Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

I think you might be ok with $1000, but it also depends on how much your table service meals are going to cost and how much will you spend for food for the villa.

Food prices at WDW has went up since your last visit.

200$ a day. We don't buy stuff - we do eat TS with TIW and drink.

So do we!!! I usually bring $300 in cash and come home with $280.

The credit card bill is another matter. But we are accumulating rewards.

Thank you all! I think a safe budget is going to be $150 to $200 a day then. If there is any left over, I can get a D&B purse
