How much did your engagement/wedding ring cost?

Pigletgirl.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY Hope you are having a great day today!! Enjoy looking for your ring....sometimes it is not the size or shape, you'll know when you find the right one. Dh was looking for some time and told me the style he was looking at...it wasn't my taste. We looked together and a single solitare was perfect. It was a bit pricey, it is a 1.75 c solitare, but appraised for 4x what we paid for it...we got a great deal (or I should say he got a great deal)...this was 9 years ago.

Chell, I think that is so wonderfully romantic. I would love for my rings to have a much deeper meaning than a much higher price tag (Not that my rings don't mean anything, they just don't have a story behind them).

Thanks. To me it was very important that they have meaning, especially since we didn't have much money for our rings or our Wedding. And I really wanted to pay respect to my grandparents, especially as important as they were to me.
