We'll have our Visa, MC ad debit, but how much US cash do you typically take for a 2 week vacation?
I'm just worried about it being a bit too easy to spend when you don't have that cash in hand, lol
I hear you on that. But at the end of the day, it's a vacation, and if we overspend, I will take the punishment of paying off the card when it comes due.I want to use our MC as much as possible since it's a rewards card as well. Best Yoda imitation voice...MMM Self control must you have.
$120 CAD is Starbucks Cards
I didn't think we could use Canadian Starbucks Gift Cards in the US.

Yep, we can. Use them frequently when we travel as most airports seem to have them. Bought snacks to take on the plane, hot tea & breakfast before an early flight once we past security. Never an issue using them in the US or UK!![]()
No difference between Canadian and US Cards. I always used my Canadian cards down in the US, and now that I have converted to SmartPhone app, it works seamlessly across the border. The US price will convert to the C$ equivalent as it debits off your card. Actually, you may notice that when you register your cards on Starbucks.ca that you are redirected to the US site.
