How much cash do we need?

I've seen alot of posts asking about how much spending money to take, but how much actually needs to be cash? We prefer to use debit/credit cards for almost everything (and I'm sure we'll just put it on file at the hotel and use charging privleges).
We're on the dining plan. Ds4 will get either $5 or $10 each day for spending money. I plan to already have envelopes ready and loaded for mousekeeping. I'll bring plenty of change (sorted and ready to go) for laundry and penny machines.
Aside from all that, how much more cash do we need? Will $100 or $200 be enough?

We usually plan on spending about $1000 for a week long trip......

We normally use our credit cards on vacation. We also take a couple hundred in cash. Then replenish at ATM's as necessary.

We have separate checking accounts and each have an ATM card. One time at AKL for some reason he was unable to take out cash, but I was. Strange because it's the same bank and he had money in his account.

We also had charging put on our room cards last trip. That was nice as we didn't have to carry around everything and could leave other credit cards locked in the safe.
