How much are you paying for gas this holiday weekend?

It went up to $3.09 today at our local gas station.

We still plan on filling our tank and heading to Lake Michigan, tho!

Gas prices has put me over the edge and I've decided against getting the acura I want, and going with the new hybrid camry.

I filled tonight to avoid the weekend rush and raise in prices. Prices here vary a lot. I paid $2.81 and was pleased with that.

So, even though the 4th is Tuesday and Monday is a work day (I am state empl., dh is federal), this is still considered a holiday weekend?

The place closest to us was $2.89 when I went into work about noon today. Didn't look coming home because I was ummm in a hurry to get home, but I'm sure it's risen.

NC Beast filled up Thursday am at 2.79/gal in the Raleigh area.

OK, regular prices are $3.25-$3.45/gal here. If you go about 20+ miles north it's $3.03/gal. I have no idea what gas prices are going to be this weekend. Hopefully Costco doesn't raise their prices for the weekend.

I thought we had the highest prices here in So Cal, but you take the cake (as they say...). We are paying about $3.21 here. We are taking our boat up to Silverwood Lake to enjoy the day. The whole trip takes the better part of a tank
