...hoping for a late walk up at Le Cellier? We want to eat dinner late on our Epcot day, like as the park closes late. Has anyone had any luck doing this?

It does happen. My sister lives in Tampa and tried to get and adr for LeCellier for one of the days they were going over to Epcot, couldn't get anything for any time during the day. While they were in the park they decided just to check and see if they could get a party of two in, sure enough they were told it would only be a 10 minute wait. Doesn't hurt to try but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

Le Cellier often gets backed up during dinner. It is much easier to get a walk up anywhere right as the restaurant opens. I would think it would be much harder to do so as the night goes on. On top of that, Le Cellier often doesn't take walk ups at all.

I simply would not count on it.

Had a friend just get back from WDW and said while they were waiting for their adr to be seated, she couldn't believe the amount of people being turned away at LeCellier.
She said at least 20 different people in a matter of 10 mins.

Nope wouldn't count on it.

My advice? Only if its raining. That's the only way we've been able to eat there with our trips this year since I can't book too far in advance because of my mother's health. During our August trip, the last day my friend was with us it was pouring down on and off all day. We decided to try to eat at WS even though we didn't have reservations because we figured people would skip out because of the rain - we were right!

I wouldn't walk up, but you can call that afternoon. If it is just the 2 of you it is easier. DH and I did that on our vacation w/o the kids. We couldn't get and ADR but we tried at the last minute and we got in.

That has been my experience as well. At open, you may get lucky and get in without an ADR. Later on, not so much.

Walk ups are not impossible, just not probable. Most of the walkups I have seen are at restaurant opening.Dinner adrs back up and it is less likely the later on it gets..But miracles happen
