We recieved ours about three weeks before we cruised last time. We cruise the week before you do in April. I'll let you know when we get our Doc's!!
We also booked through DU
We booked our air through Disney... will the flight info arrive with the cruise docs? I hope Disney takes care of seat selection... we sailed on Carnival a while back and they did not.
I would recommend if you don't recieve your docs two weeks out, call DCL to be confirm shipment. When we sailed in 2003, we called at three weeks and were told the docs were mailed/UPSed. Called at two weeks because they didn't arrive. The docs were returned to DCL from UPS due to a zip code issue. It was a bit of a problem because we were leaving for the first phase of our vacation within a three days. Disney took care of us and ensured the docs were in our hands prior to the start of our vacation.
Last cruise we had ours 6 weeks ahead of time....time before that it was 4 weeks ahead of time. We never let Disney book our air so maybe that has something to do with getting them faster...
One of the families on our Apr 2 thread already got there docs. But had booked directly with DCL. So I'm thinking the next week or two. DU told me to call them on March 22 if I had not received them as I'm traveling earlier than the cruise date.
Because we are flying from England 9 days prior to our cruise we have written to DCL to no avail but our travel agent was told they would get our documents 10 before our cruise which would be no good for us. We are going on the 22nd October and our travel agent has insisted they receive them by the 1st October latest. Dont know what we would do if they did not arrive before we leave England but assume we would have to go to Disney Cruise Line office and sort it out there. Wonder if this has happened to anyone?
