How many weddings?

How many weddings a day does Disney have...My boyfriend and I were talking about about they have about 1,500 a year--so are there like multiples EVERY DAY? Do you think there is ever a day that no one gets married in Disney?

I couldn't give you an exact number...but when I spoke to my planner about 2 1/2 weeks ago, she said they usually do about 500 per year. This year has gone down because of the economy.

And less people seem to be doing Sat. weddings because the minimums are so much more on those days. When I was there, I was told that there weren't any weddings that Sat when I was on vacay....so I hope that helps!

I know that I havent seen anyone on this board with my wedding date but there were already weddings books on the first and second choices for times and that's just Sea Breeze point! So you have to figure a random Thursday in October has at least three at SBP.

And I know of at least 3 on my date of October 12th... but that's peak wedding season (I think... according to DFTW), so maybe it slows down during the off times?

I don't have any idea how many weddings there are a year, but I do know there are 9 planners now and they all seem to stay busy working on several brides, so there could be tons of weddings going on we don't even know about. Those girls out there doing it without the boards are missing out

I know that I was the only bride getting married at the WP on my date. I was the only name on the board and that was cool. Randy even had me take a picture by the board. I don't know about any other locations

Where as on my date I've got the noon slot at the WP and I know the 1430 and 1700 slots have also been taken.

I think that there was two weddings at the WP on my wedding day. I met one other bride who got married at SBP. so at least 3 weddings on my date. I know I originally wanted the 2:30 time slot but was told that it was taken. On my wedding day the sign only had 10:00 and noon (Us) kinda made me mad but i got over it.

(SO if you really want a time check back after you book, im guessing someone "held" 2:30 but never booked or changed locations)
