How many visitors per year at WDW?

Hello everyone:

I thought the DVC forum would be the best place to post these questions?

Does anyone have information on:

If I were to poll our nation and asked "if they've been to WDW", how many Americans do you think have visited WDW?

I've read that 70% of the guests at WDW are repeat guests? Is that true.

If you can provide the source of where you found your information, I would greatly appreciate that too!

Don't know whether you can find any accurate info on this. I know there is a yearly publication (see for one year http://www.connectingindustry.com/downloads/pwteaerasupp.pdf ) provides numbers for such things as total visitors to a given park per year, such as MK, and they do it for many theme parks and not just Disney. Some of the numbers are based on figures provided by the owners of the parks but for Disney it is usually an educated estimate because it does not give out precise numbers. I think for MK it usually ranges in the 17 million visitors per year range but even if accurate that tells you park entries and not actual number of different people, whether any are repeat customers or how many have ever gone..
