How many towels do you get?

Yes, as far as bath towels and washcloths go. I actually thought you would get 4 hand towels too in a studio. I've gotten extra towels more times than I've ever been shortchanged.

I always thought it was 4 hand towels for a studio and a 1 br that slept 4, too. I just had a discussion with 2 managers at SSR about that and they agree, expectation is that there are are always 4 complete sets of towels at all times, in the studios and 1 brs. A complete set to me is one bath towel, one hand towel and one wash cloth.

It seems that there has been a change in the way that housekeeping has been administering the towel program. We had 4 hand towels when we arrived in both a 1 br and a studio on our last stay, but on Trash and Towel day we only recieved 2 hand towels and 2 wash cloths, each time.

Anyone else care to comment? We have been owners since 96 and I have always been "Towel concious" I think Owners are paying for T&T service, and we should recieve what we are paying for. If the policy has changed, then we all need to understand it.

We just returned from a 1 BR at BLT. We had a ton of towels.

In the hall bath: 5 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 5 face cloths.

In the master shower area: 2 bath towels, 2 face cloths.

In the jacuzzi tub area: 4 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 4 face cloths.

I have no idea why we had so many, but it was more than enough for the 4 of us for a week. And no, I didn't ask for any extra. That is how many that were in the villa when we checked in, and what the mousekeeper re-stocked when we had our trash and towel service.

We also had an abundance of towels (all kinds) upon our check in at a 1BR at BLT.

We've been shorted just 2 times, once when staying in a 1Bdrm, the other time staying in a 2Bdrm - a call to the front desk or housekeeping generally solved that problem - no questions asked.
