How many times?

We decided to start going every year since it's our happy place. It was every couple since our wedding. Sometimes sharing with other adults at Contemporary before the wedding. We don't count the sharing times because we only stayed a couple days and never had to pay.

I've been at least once every year-- sometimes twice-- since I was 9 months old. I'm 41 now.:scared:

There are no kids in our family, but we still travel to Disney with my mom every year. It's a family tradition and makes us all happy. No matter how many times we say we're fed up with the cutbacks and price increases, we still always go back!

As a kid, we pretty much always went during summer. Lately, Thanksgiving or Christmas is preferable. It works with all our schedules and is cooler!

I would go once a year, if I could afford it. I am lucky and this will be my third year in a row. (Actually, if I could afford it, I'd go 2x a year. I'd (finally) go to Disneyland and then also go to Disney World. Lol) Before that, it was many years in between, whenever I could manage to get together the money. I like to go in October best, this year I'm trying November.

We go once a year if we stay in a deluxe and we go twice a year if we stay at a moderate or value.

Once a year lately - and so far our fav time has been our May trip.

Multiple times per year? I'm in the multiple times per decade category... I just can't afford to go more often. :guilty:

I know many people on this forum go every year and some multiple times per year.

We have only been four times and are going in September for our 5th trip but, I am in my 40s and my kids are college age adults now.
When the kids were little we couldn't afford it, and when we could afford it my husband was dragged to WDW so going once a year wasn't possible, he just wasn't going to spend every year at WDW. I don't blame him. As much as I love WDW for me going every year would get stale. Seeing other places is great too.

WDW is very expensive. It surprises me so many can afford to go multiple times a year. My husband has a very good career, he does very well financially and we can't afford to take more than one nice vacation a year, which to me is a WDW trip.. Gone 10 days, roughly several thousand dollars with Universal.

Some are very blessed to get to go every year or multiple times. I know so many people who go once and that's it.

We go once a year for a week at a time, preferably during F&W.

Once a year, but only because I also enjoy travelling to non-Disney places, otherwise I would go more often. When I'm with my family, we have to go Christmas/Spring/summer breaks since sis is a teacher, but when I'm solo I prefer May, or October/Halloween

We go to WDW 3 times in a year and then to DLR 3 times the next year.....we alternate.
Sometimes more.

Prefer winter in WDW and fall at DLR

We are going to try to go once a year in May, and every other year a second trip in the fall. The odd years would be 4th of July beaxh vacations. We started last year! So hopefully 2016 will have 2 trips! That second trip may only be a quick 2-3 days. Just depends on work and kids activity schedules.

I usually go once every few years, but this year I got an AP and as you can see by my signature I have been there 4 times already with my 4th trip starting in 2 days. However this will be my last trip for the year.

Once a year end of November first part of December for my birthday. I'd also like to go for SWW every year but it's rather problematic with work. Looking forward to retirement so I can move to FL and go as often as I'd like. :D

Many people on these boards also are Disney Vacation Club members. As we are. Our initial timeshare purchase was what is now Old Key West and moved on to a few more from there. (yes we are That old). That being said, those timeshare purchases are paid for. We just buy tickets, food and a plane ride. That's what makes it affordable for many. Others just look for deals and stay at value/moderate hotels with free dining plans, etc.

To the OP, we are also May / September people! We missed May this year due to other commitments, but will be there in September!

Twice per year, on average. 10 - 14 days per trip. We live over 1000 miles away and drive or we would go more often. We generally go in September and January, but have been to WDW in every month of the year at some point.

We took a family poll several years ago. Go more often and stay fewer days, or go less often and stay longer. We decided on the latter. We drive from PA, there's 7 of us so flying is too much money. We decided we would rather stay for 10 nights each trip and not go as often. Already planning our trip for December of 2017. Can't wait.
