This is a follow up to my previous poll...

PLEASE ignore...I'm sorry I am having trouble with the polls tonight. I am going to try it one more time....

I'm so sorry for the multiple posts...this is the last time I am going to try this, wish me luck :confused3

At least 7 times, maybe 8, all in cabins. I wish I could be an RV'er! :sad1:

We've only been three times ( 1 cabin and 2 camping ) and it took the third visit to really "see the light". We have a rather large holding of DVC points and may consider selling most of them because we now prefer FW over the villas.

You see what snow does to people lol. That poor girl is stuck up there with no camping for a while. I say us suhhhhhhthernuz should start posting pics on here of our camping trips for our friends up north so they remember what it looks like to camp. Oh and none of the fort trips though. That would be just plain mean. BTW I have been 13 times now. Mostly 3-4 day trips but a few week longers.

We have gone more than 15 times.

Living in Jacksonville we try to go every 3 months excluding The summer time because it gets Nasty Humid. Also since DD has a lot of swim meets in Orlando, we just stay at Ft. Wilderness and depending on when she swims, we are at the parks either early morning or late evenings.

More than 15 times. We live in Orlando and go at least a couple of times a month for the weekend. Just wish we could go more.

You know you can use those points at the Fort for a preferred site!!!

I've been to the fort 7 times. 6 trips in a tent, and my last trip in my new little camper

I have been going at least once a year (some years up to 4 times) since about 1984. I only went about 4 or 5 times between 1973 and 1984. Not bad considering it's over 2000 miles round trip. Almost every trip I have stayed at FW except once when I stayed with family in an off site villa and two day trips when I was already in FL for work trips.

Yessss....I am bored up here with no camping until March !! We have done a couple of days trips to exercise the motorhome and generator. In the meantime I am living through all of you (except Stacktester :rolleyes1 ) and enjoying reading about your FW trips.

Fortunately for us, we are in the over 15 category :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: . The year just isn't complete unless we make a trip! I'm with you Shannone1 being a northerner we cherish every moment in the warmth of the fort. We came home from the fort Nov 2 and had to get the camper ready for the winter :sad2:

Planning my first trip!!!:) Staying in a cabin. BIL and family Rving. The more I read about it the more EXCITED I get.

Be careful....I came to this forum "just to check things out" before our first trip and I never left !! It is addicting !!

I've been going since 1972. Probably averaged at least once a year, so that would make a minimum of 35 visits. I missed going some years while in College, but have more than made up for those absences over the later years with multiple trips per year. We've presently visit about 3 times a year.

The disney rules are changing. Now they are going to charge $90 per reservation to go to the fort with the points....... I immediately cancelled attempting to get disney vacation club points.
