Hi guys,

We're off to POR in three weeks and are AP's. I expect there may be some BB offer whilst we're there and wondering the following;:confused3

1) What are they offering on BB right now?

2) Being AP's we were thinking of visiting in Feb/Mar maybe and more certainly last week of september and first week of october 2010.

Can we book BB offers for both these trips or can you only book one stay on an offer?

Also, we're 2 adults, no kids so is Sept/Oct two weeks better than last two weeks of september for deals?

Cheers:surfweb:

You can book one room on a BB per registered adult per room. Im pretty sure the BB offer is free dining until Oct 24 for next year. They usually only offer one BB at a time.

Guests are limited to the number of rooms they can book per adult.
However I have not heard of a limit to the number of trips they can book, as long as the dates all fall under the bb dates.
Meaning you could book various stays under different travel dates as long as all the stays were within the travel dates for that promotion.
I am pretty sure I have read on the Dis where others have booked separate vacations that fell within the travel dates. However cannot speak from personal experience.

A few years ago we booked the FD offer for Early August and then booked for October FD.

You can book as many trips as you like within the offer period.

Am i the only one who doesn't get the free dining stuff??

Do i just pay for room if i am an AP?

Do i then get credits to dine with and this restricts me to where and how i eat? I.e sit down or take away meals.

Is this linked to DDP?

*** i just don't see the saving for two adults in free dining?

Convince me. I'm using the AP discount room only rates for this trip and if the BB offer is free dining i'd find it difficult to calculate the benefits over waiting and just getting AP discount for room only in Sept/Oct.

For free dining, guests pay rack room rate.
So another discount may work better for you.
You will need to run numbers to see what works best for your trip.
There are WDTC ticketless packages for AP-ers. But those are not bb and do not include free dining.
There really are not many restrictions when on the DDP. There are some places that don't accept DDP. But not many. (T Rex, Garden View Tea, Bistro in France come to mind.)
