I just checked into my User CP (which I usually forget about), and it says I've subscribed to 133 threads over my time span.....
Is that alot, a little or about average?

I wish there was a way to delete ALL of them at once.

And oh, I have no idea how many subscriptions I have, I forgot to check :rotfl:.

2839 counting this thread.

I have my account set to automatically subscribe to every thread I post on, and I also subscribe to some threads I don't post on - usually informational threads. That way I can refer back to them again later fairly easily. I don't have to do that often, but sometimes it's fun to go back years to see what I and others were posting about. Or sometimes there is a specific thread that comes up for some reason that I need to look at again.

I really am unsure why everyone doesn't subscribe like that . You can turn e-mail notifications off, so that really shouldn't be an issue. I don't see a reason for not doing it that way. A few years ago when Search went down for a very extended period, so many people were all in a panic because they couldn't search themselves :confused3. I had a nice list of every thread I had participated in.

But I've argued that before on threads about subscriptions, and I've never understood anyone's argument against it.

9.
Mine doesn't automatically subscribe me when I post, and I only subscribe to trip reports.

I just choose the ones that interest me that I want to follow up on... and some of them I request emails on... but generally I dont'. I wouldnt want every one that I post on as a subscription!!

Looking back, I see that some of my opinions have changed over the years :).

Hmmm... I've only subscribed to 4; looks like that's pretty low. I don't think I could keep up with too many.

1260 and I know I've deleted some.

Is it obvious I've got something to say about everything? :confused3 :lmao:

LOL
And, here's the good thing...I've seen your name, so I 'recognize' you...but I have no recollection whether we've agreed or disagreed on things. But, I 'think' I like you....LMAO...

(for the record, even when people disagree with me, I harbor no ill feelings towards anyone, unless they are just purposely downright mean)

Ok...that was my announcement:goodvibes

Subscribed Threads in Folder: Subscriptions Threads: 15104

I didn't even think to check back at the first subscription. It isn't as significant for me because my list only goes back to 2001 (the big crash); I had my post count restored (my "Please restore my post count" thread was the "first" subscription on my list) but of course all the old threads were gone, and the subscriptions with them.
