I think where I'm really missing out are the nCraves. I've read about it but don't really understand how it works I guess? Plus, I don't have unlimited date for my home internet, so I couldn't just let it run all day.

Some of you are talking about having your computer run things. Everything I've seen I have to sit and babysit the app- clicking every 20 seconds, or clicking every 5 minutes, whatever.

Is there something you can run you don't have to be there for?

nCrave. But you usually have to complete one of the manual ones first before it will show you the auto-run options. Go to Discover/Watch/nCrave and choose one of the manual low point options. Complete that and then refresh the nCrave page and look for one of the 5 or 6 point options that have a round arrow icon in the left hand corner. Start that and then when that page loads turn the "Discovery Mode" on. It will automatically play through all the videos for you then. But you usually have to keep that web browser page open in my experience. So you can't play it on a background page or minimized browser while you do something else on the computer. At least I've never been able to get it to work.

I got home last night and was pleasantly surprised by one of my offers crediting. I like using the offers for things I have always wanted to try or currently need. I did an offer where if I spent $20 at The Body Shop, I would get 1500 SB. The Body Shop was having a Buy 2, Get 1 Free event, so I got $30 worth of merchandise for about $6. I also just set up a recurring order of cat food at Petco via Swagbucks. I will get the points per dollar for that first order, plus Petco has a deal that you get a $30 eGift Certificate once your first recurring order ships. With that eGC, $10 in existing Pals rewards and a $15 off $75 purchase yesterday, I got a $90 cat tree plus $5 in toys and paid $41 (and still got free shipping). I know I could just save the money on my own, but this allows be to get little luxuries for little money and still put money away towards our Disney trip.

After you click on discovery mode if you push down Control and Tab at the same time you will be able to do other things in anothe while it runs.

Just make sure if you go back to that Ncrave window to check on it you click Control and Tab again when you want to go back if the Ncrave isn't done yet.

I joined swagbucks in 2014. So far I have earned 23,420. But I took like 8 months off, lol. I recently started again in August and since August I have earned 20,150. I'm a stay at home mom, so I try to get at least the minimum if not more. Usually if I can do 2 of the gold surveys that gets my minimum or I will do the peanut lab surveys and the daily crave stuff. Some days it takes longer to earn the minimum and some days its super quick. Like this morning I earned my minimum in like an hour. Too me thats not really time consuming. Also if you get your minimum everyday you get a nice little reward at the end which helps.

Today on my ncraves there are easy 2 pointers. The blue auto and the one that says savings. I've been doing those over and over. It is 4 clicks but you can minimize the page or open another if you need to and will still work. Seems kind of silly just for 2 cents but it is really easy for me if I am going to be working on the computer doing other stuff anyway. I've racked up a bunch this morning doing those.

Thanks for that little tip! I had no idea what "discovery mode" was, LOL...Now I am running things like a pro, LOL

Thanks for the info on Discovery Mode. But it looks like you still have to babysit it somewhat- after 6 SB, I have to select a new one, it won't start one, right?

Everytime I did discovery mode I got an error message stating that the activity was incomplete and I didn't get my 6SBs for it.

yeah but they take a little longer usually 15-20 minutes depending on which on you use, so it's not clicking every 30 second or 1 minute.

Everytime I did discovery mode I got an error message stating that the activity was incomplete and I didn't get my 6SBs for it.
I was getting that on occasion too, i just make sure i report the activity :P

I must be doing it wrong. I just cashed in my points for a $25 Starbucks GC. The last time I cashed in was over a year ago.:o

I've been doing Swagbucks since 4/7/15 and I just passed 40,000 SBs tonight. So far I've cashed in $380, mostly for Walmart cards that I use to buy Disney cards, and a couple gas cards I'll use for a road trip next year.

I don't do surveys any more, and I haven't really gotten into the special offers yet. I run the apps on my phone and 2 ipads every day. I do nCraves and usually play one of the games for 10 SBs per day. I work at a computer all day, so I usually run nCraves behind whatever I'm doing. I make sure to meet at least my first goal each day, so the bonus points really add up throughout the month. I'll sometimes run the videos I have to click forward while I'm watching TV in the evening.

I started on Jan 24th this year, and I've earned 49,213 SB so far. I've actually cashed out for $500, and I also got about $100 worth of diapers from two survey companies to try on my younger son (recognizable brand names, nothing shady!).

I haven't even been that dedicated to it, there have been weeks where I just didn't even bother because I either had family stuff going on or I was just plain not feeling like doing it, so I really could have earned a lot more if I'd stuck with it each day.

I also do Bing and just started Perk TV today! It's so fun to get those gift cards, I just got my son a fancy Darth Vader costume from Disney without feeling like I was wasting money, lol.

I know the swagbucks page can be overwhelming for people looking into starting, and there can be a lot of hesitation about whether or not all the time is really worth the reward.

I thought it would be interesting to have people share what their life time swag total is.
It could be a little encouragement for anyone who has considered joining in the past, just to show it really is worth the time.

If you're willing to share include how long you've been using swagbucks, and what your lifetime swagbuck total is!
For those of you new to swagbucks each buck is worth roughly a penn so 10,000 swagbucks is equal to roughly $100 that's not including gift card sales and things like that though.

If you are interested in joining swagbucks or have questions check out this thread!

Lifetime I've earned 62,845 swagbucks...started in 2011. We've cashed in over $600 in Amazon gift cards. It paid for all of our small things for our Disney Trip when we went a couple of years ago (socks, band aids, etc). I also just keep saving them all year and use them up at Christmas. It's a huge help to have $100 in a slow year for free money to spend on Christmas gifts.

I love using Swagbucks

My start date was 2/5/11 and my lifetime earnings are 198,451. I wasn't aggressive about it all that time though, just here and there. Last year I really started making an effort and finally referred my husband a month or so ago to get the 300SB referral and am loving the 10% I get from him. We are heading to WDW on Saturday so I've been in a rush to get some last minute Disney gift cards from Target - pick up my last one in-store tomorrow because Sat can't come soon enough!
