I know loads of you have booked or had STVS produce your Wedding DVD. So I have a few questions for you all.

My fiance and I are having a hard time deciding on what we want.
We are having Pre Ceremony (Stylized) Ceremony (Classic) and Post Ceremony (Stylized)
Stan recommended that we pick 3 songs, but we are struggling to have just 3esp as it will likely be 2 up tempo and 1 slow.
How many song did you pick for your DVD?
Also we need to pick an opening and I'm not that fond of the storybook opening as it doesn't go with the theme of the DVD which is stylized. Does he have any other options or does anyone have any other ideas?
Does Stan come to your hotel and get footage of us before the Wedding? I know I'm still a while off, but picking the songs is difficult. I initially was gonna go with the Wishes end, but I again I don't think it will fit the DVD so I'm also looking for a more stylized finish if anyone has any other ideas.

Thanks

Summer, Those are great questions. Stan will come for as many hours as you have booked him for. Basically, you need to figure out what you need from him to get what you want and then book that many hours...make sense? As for the opening, Stan can do anything that you want. You don't have to do a Storybook opening. I did one that was a picture frame that looked like a Monet painting and then faded into the true video. I had Stan for I think 6 or more hours. Since I wanted more of the pre-ceremony time with everyone taking pictures, and the entire reception and our sendoff, he did not come to the room to do any getting ready footage. We also had him for the Illuminations Party that night.

For the songs I think we had 3 full length songs, 2 for the opening and one for the slo-mo recap. Interspersed was the music from the ceremony, and music from the reception, and lead in music to Illuminations...I hope all this makes sense. It is good to think about this beforehand! The other thing I did, was put everything on my ipod and listened to the flow of the music. That helped with my decisions in limiting the amount of music I could have chosen.
